- Hi everyone! Stranger Things: The Experience has now opened in London! This was an interactive/immersive one hour walk through that blew our minds! Following this there is a mixtape area with photo opportunities, activities, food & drink and retail. We were invited to check it out and share out experience there.

It looks so good even though I wouldn’t have a clue what’s going on. I have only seen the first series.
Oh gosh you've got a lot to get through 🤣🙈 I'd say this is set around series 3 with sprinkles of series 4 ❤️
Nicely done. Glad you had a fun experience. Here's another tip ... In the US (San Francisco, CA), in the Mix Tape area there were pictures of fissures opening up, and if you used the camera on your phone, you could scan a QR code for some fun Stranger Things trivia. If you found all of the fissures and answered all of the trivia questions correctly, you could show the results to an Experience staff member and get a bonus gift. Not sure if Fever had this as part of the Experience outside of the US.

The price of that merchandise is ridiculous! 100 quid for a denim vest?! I know Eddie is immensely popular but I can’t see them selling many of them!

@@TD3Vlogs The games arcade & video shop are my favourite. Absolutely love the posters etc. As much as it looks great. It's not the same as being there in person as it's the best way to experience it. It will be a 3 hour train for me. But I am more than willing.

Thanks so much! It was very good and especially worth it if you're a big fan of the show. We stayed at Premier Inn Borehamwood and it was about £16 each way for an Uber. It was a much cheaper hotel for us at the time than one that's closer and very easy access off the M1 👍

Oh wow! We would love to do this. Even though we can only see the Mixtape room it just sounds amazing. Apparently there is one here in Spain so we are going to look into that.

I will be going soon with a few people, I was wondering how long were you there as we are travelling in and don’t know how long we need to stay for?
The Experience itself is one hour and then you can stay as long as you wish in the Mixtape part. We took our time and spent 2 hours in the Mixtape, so all in all 3 hours 👍 Enjoy!
Can you walk around the mix tape and photo opps before you go into do the 45-60min experience?
I believe access is only after the experience as the entrance queue takes you straight in to Hawkins Lab. I think at the time we went the last booking finishes 1 hour before the mixtape closes.

Hi Lee-ann! Immediately around there's just a tesco next door that has a little coffee shop in it, I think maybe a Costa? If you've got time to walk, it's a 12 minute walk over the road to Brent Cross shopping centre that has loads of options, Shake Shack, Wagamama, Pizza Express, McDs, KFC and more 😋

Hi guys. We were looking at going to this but a few of our group apprehensive as not sure how scary it is? As you have done things such as scarefest and hhn, just wondering if it's like that. My group would find that too scary. Is there vr involved and are you always in group or ever on your own? Thanks in advance and keep up the great video's.
Hi 👋 Definitely not as scary as HHN! Always in a group and never from my memory in a small confined space. No VR at all. If HHN was an 8/10 scary I'd give this maybe a 3-4/10. I'd describe this as more of a theatrical experience. You're in groups of around 15 in some rooms and 30 in other rooms. Hope this helps!

Hi Craig! Yeah very easy. You do walk over a bridge and an underpass but it was only around a 12 minute walk. We stayed in a hotel at Borehamwood and Ubered to the area 👍
Hey Guys great video! Weve been thinking about this, but heard mixed reviews. Sounds like you had a blast though. Is the actual expereince scary at all? My sister keeps saying shes going to bring my neice whos a little young, if we go and Im not so sure shed like it, but noticed tickets were from 5 years old? Whats your take on this?
Hi guys and thank you. We genuinely loved it and Jimmy is still buzzing now - he is an absolute Superfan.
There are a couple of more intense scenes but if your neice watches Stranger Things then I'd imagine she'd be ok but it all depends on the child. Sorry as I know that isn't a particularly useful answer.
@@TD3Vlogs the youngest doesn't watch it no. Jasmine and her older cousin do. Youngest is only 9! I think she would be scared. I no she was scared to go in the London dungeons. Glad u had a blast guys x

Hi Megan 👋 We were only there in daytime and felt OK walking between the experience and Brent Cross Shopping Centre. I'm not too sure what the safety would be like at night. I imagine there will be plenty of people around though who were at the experience too. I hope you have an amazing time! x

Absolutely!!!! You still get the exact same experience and photo ops 🙌 The only thing you miss out on is a "free" drink and a "gift". There was a bit of a queue to get in when we arrived but no queue to get in when we left. Within the mixtape the queues were very minimal, only one or two infront for food and drink. Picture queues (vecna, Joyce and infront of the ST sign) would sometimes have max 5 people in but then at other times no queue at all 👍

Hi Alan. There's no parking itself at the venue unless you're disabled. There's a tesco next door but I'm not sure how long you're able to park there for. Brent Cross shopping centre is about a 12-minute walk away and is free 👍 We ubered in from a hotel we were staying it. Hope this helps
I'm going in September our slot is at 5 , do you have you arrive a certain time before for queue
It says to arrive 15 minutes before your slot. I feel like it'll be a constantly rolling thing so you may not get in bang on your time depending how big the queue is. We were the first slot of the day so there was quite a queue when we went in. VIP tickets were let in first. We left just after 7 and there wasn't a queue at all then. They're very efficient 👍

Hi Lily! We saw a photo booth prop in the Roller Rink area but it wasn't a working one unfortunately. There was a ton of merch but only a few items that were specific to the experience. I think a lot of items you'd be able to buy elsewhere. There's a tee for £30, hoody for £60 and tote bag for £15 with the experience print on which was nice. Jimmy also bought a book for £35 but I've since seen it online for much cheaper 🤦♀️

Hi Donna, we stayed at a Premier Inn in Boreham Wood and an Uber was £16 each way (approx 15 minute drive). Parking was £6 a night at the Hotel. Hope your Son loves it if you do decide to go ❤️

what is the toilet situation like
There's toilets available before you go in and there's toilets at the Mixtape area too. They're located between the Vecna photo opp and Scoops Ahoy. Plenty available 👍😊

I love stranger things but Quick question fantastic that you got a freebie but would you have paid to go as a family of three would it be value for money?
Fair question - we were 100% planning on going anyway but it would still have been as a two as big Jim isn't interested in Stranger Things in the slightest.

I'd say its for any Stranger Things fan. There's a bit of swearing so I don't think it's aimed at kids. There were three tweens/teens in our group of about 20 people.

Clothing is typically more expensive over here than the US. Lots of other great items though so try and go with an open mind 👍
