Had to find out what that song was called, came and found "blue velvet blues"
Amazing that a song, used in a movie, made its influence known to a far-out psych rock band in Japan.

one of their best lps , the sixth first are wonderful..from 1st to electric heavyland..

I wasn't a huge fan of Electric Heavyland personally, just took the psychedlic squall to far (although I'm sure Kawabata would argue that there is no such thing as 'too far'), it really is an inpenetrable wall of noise. I always think their real sweet spot was the run between about 2004-2007, when they toned down the psychedelic element of their sound a little, and experiemented more with different genres outside of their comfort zone.

well for me is different cause more guitars than older lps, is a sense of a new direction less eclectic

Try the cosmic jokers, ash ra tempel, Early gong, early tangerine dream, damo suzuki's Can, just to name a few. AMT takes the inspiration for their name (and largely their sound) from the before mentioned ash ra tempel, and in early krautrock such as ashra tempel and Amon Düül II one can find the most unbelievable psychedelia that exists. Follow the path you're already on it will lead you to the Bands I am talking about.

FWIW Makoto Kawabata has hours of self-titled "music" that takes dreams and interprets them into sound. Many people I show it to cannot handle it. Look for Makoto Kawabata RYO to get started. Good Luck
