Though ghosts wasn't the greatest game, the storylines in the comp scene that year were like nothing else since imo

Probably my favorite Optic team. Not because they were good, but because of the personalities they had on this team. I found myself getting hyped when Clay did. I miss this lineup and when CoD was like this.
Man everytime I hear the music switch with the speech from Nadey boy at 3:14, I always get the chills.

if i am honest i think that they should have kept Clay in and got Formal for nation, because he can get Nade and Scump hyped. And if Scump is hyped....
I honestly don't think Hype is better than Skill. I think Formal has definitely proved himself for this team. Scump is still going to get hyped up for sure.
SteveJC With scump hype is a major factor, watching him in the online tournaments when they are losing he gets really quite and it affects his play massivley. The most recent example is last weekend when they lost to stunner in both the 2k and 5k (But also keep in mind stunner are the ultimate definition of online warriors)
I understand you but a lot of people use the meaning of 'Hype' the wrong way. Always communicating is for sure what they want. Hype builds momentum and can really help the team but a lot of people use if as a way of saying if he's hyped they will win but in my opinion they're a lot more factors than just hype. But I do understand where you are coming from :)

2021 I miss this team
Coming back and seeing how proud and excited they were when they beat col makes me dislike faze a little less. Lol I was mad when faze were getting egos from beating OG but OG were the best in AW so that is an accomplishment beating them, can't even be mad.
