Ssenyonyi dismisses President’s bid to end vice

The leader of the opposition in Parliament Joel Ssenyonyi has dismissed as ineffectual, President Museveni's recent move to root out corruption from the government. This follows the recent arrest of five MPs and several other officials on charges of embezzling billions of shillings. However, in an exclusive interview, Ssenyonyi says the fight is unlikely to have far-reaching impact, since only a few officials are being targeted for prosecution.
