Ya know, I love your videos, recent subscriber and all that, but I got to say I’m a tad disappointed in the usage of lore here. Cell Saga Gohan had to be pushed extremely hard by emotional ties to transform into the first Super Saiyan 2. Cell and Bojack really pushed him into corners and only from direct interference from Android #16 and Goku from the other world breaking the rules to save Gohan from inevitable defeat did he resume his mantle as the strongest. I’m not sure Gohan as an adult had enough battle power nor instigation to provoke Gohan into tapping into his strongest form. Here it is used like a cheap power up. Similar to Gohan’s slight mastery of it in the Babidi to early Majin Buu arc. There is nothing on the line to push Gohan past his limits. A good sparring match alone based on Gohan’s early slight passive personality from early Dragon Ball Z to pre-Cell Games would not be enough. Therefore, a different approach would be Gohan as a teen losing based on letting his guard down and lacking the fiery will his father has had his whole life. Though Gohan as an adult lost a lot of power throughout those 7 years of peace, he could still trigger the transformation in small bursts perhaps catching an unmotivated Cell Games Gohan off guard and knocking him out of commission. With all due respect to your work though. I love Dragon Ball as a whole. It is that passion that drives my response. These are merely suggestions from one fan to another of Akira Toriyama’s crowning achievement.
