2023 Renault Austral TCe CVT 160 mHEV | Night POV Drive

Night POV Drive of the Reanault Austral with 1.33 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine linked with CVT automatic transmission producing 160 hp.
This car is perfectly refined and comfortable. Only one complain is about the noise from the outside mirror above 110 km/h.

What's the real life fuel usage (I mean not what trip computer says but the gas station) city, mixed, open road etc.?

@@L0vac I had only few hours with the car, there is mostly no time for doing these consuption tests. It is like all small non-hybrid turbocharged engines - when driving 90 km/h very efficiency, when doing a lot of acceleration in city very thirsty.

@@LatecoBraxatoris ty, so as expected. Am thinking about it. Sadly e-tech I can't stand due to 3cy sound but this one seems very nice and has much better interior than most 35-40K eur C segment SUVs

@@L0vac yes, interior is amazing. E-tech in Austral is only 3-cylinder? In Clio and Captur it is 4-cylinder.

@@LatecoBraxatoris yes, it uses 1.2 turbo 3cy sadly. I also found that wierd, especially since Renault has reliable 1.33 turbo 4cy which could have been adapted for hybrid. The e-tech sounds awful when petrol engine revs xD
