MIG-25 would be garbage. Depending on the source, it either can do only 1100 kph on the deck or mach 1.01, so you're either caught by a MIG-17 or by a F-5. It's got a pitiful Thrust to weight ratio, and it's maneuverability is awful which can range from just 2g to 4G. Oh and it has no guns, good luck.
Day 74: Of asking phly the play the dicker max because it’s 105 is basically cheating at is br and it can survive
listen to this man!
@@stoiancristianflorin9027 I have literally tanked like 10 shots in the dicker max before I died at one point
If you think the dicker max is survivable, you should try the waffle tractor
It's all fun till someone goes up in a fighter to revenge kill, i do remember playing it what feels like 2 years ago and it was highly enjoyable when played right.
Make it too gud, the world cry foul
Make it meh, the world also cry foul
Gaijin: b l y a t
phly, dont use infrared mode on the radar. its bugged at the moment and causes your missiles to go poo
It’s not bugged. Gaijin intentionally holds free to play vehicles back so their premiums are more appealing to spend $60. Once the hype dies they return balance. They do this every patch. They build a patch around the item they predict will make the most money at that time and will quite literally shape the game around it.
@@maurice7433 it is dude, your missiles literally dont work in irst
@@SergeantArchDornan2242 your not getting what I am saying. It’s bugged. But not on accident. It will get fixed when the hype around the f5 dies
7:32 nice high AOA maneuvers 👌
"Your only job, is to get into position and launch these missiles and go home, that's it!"
I thought everyone wanted modern jet combat? :\ I'm confused.
0:34 - "You're pathetic!"
Ah, I see you're a man of Bacon_ as well.
I approve. You've got great taste Phly!
Phly can an Italian boi see the F-104S in a capable hand. Any mode, any load, just make the F-104S the subject of the video.
Attempt 128
I use my F-104S to bomb bases over mach and occasionally get a gun kill lol
@@mexicoj00 Me too, that is when I get the thing in the first place. My lineup is lacking
@@catmanlegions in ground RB it's fun but in air RB it can be fun with friends ... My lineup for ground is stacked so even if I can't get into a plane in usually good
Not bad, Phly. Been watching your streams for years
Phly can you try it the M26 Pershing you did before but that was like 5 years ago
Yeah, IRL the MiG-23 was much the same. But, the one thing it did do was just keep accelerating until you were downright scared it would fly apart. In fact a four-star flying with Constant Peg out of Tonopah actually died in one. I believe it was named a YF-113 at that time.
Day: 38 of asking Phly to play the Typhoon Mk Ib
Great Channel, I love your intros😄👌
Day 54 of asking Phly to let me take him turkey hunting.
Day 34 of asking Phly to let me take him deer hunting.
Day 14 of asking Phly to let me take him dove hunting.
Stalking is bad mkay?
Who doesn't wanna go hunting with some random dude from Internet?
Top tier jet gameplay will never be as exciting or fun to me as rank 1-4 prop gameplay!
damn that plane is a bigger disappointment than me to my family
hey Phly, I am the creator oh your video cover, u linked me, thx :) lol
i love russian jets due to the uniqueness, unfortunately they butchered my mig23
It’s not bugged. Gaijin intentionally holds free to play vehicles back so their premiums are more appealing to spend $60. Once the hype dies they return balance. They do this every patch. I wasn't even spaded in my bis when you followed me (I'm swordbow), mostly stock and didnt even have r60s, those are r13m I'm using there. The mig 23 is so damn heavy
Welp, that's why the call it the Flogger!
try 8km launch range and head on engagement high up. Works a lot better for those missiles
Mig23 = UPSski. Like UPS delivery in the bad neighborhood. Sometimes you get to deliver the package but sometimes they just steal your truck. UPSski.
The return of wow grape
Ward Carroll has a new video about going up against MiGs in an F-14, it provides some pretty cool insight into the advantages of the Mig-23 irl
Phly's new nickname is Sheeeshhhh!
"Light the Beacons!"
I'm really excited for the Saab Viggen if they actually decide to add it to the game
Same it's going to be amazing in ground rb
The Milk Truck had a redbull, and regrets getting wings...
It's nuts that it accelerates so poorly as the real life version is known for it's great low altitude acceleration, which is basically it's only real strength as a fighter.
Phly, wait for mig-27 and you'll love this platform.
I wont lie, your phlying this plane wrong. Make sure you extend your wings at low speeds and you wont lose as much energy. Also the IRST makes your missiles inoperable. If you don't use it and launch the missiles normally, even the R-23Ts, you will have much better luck. I actually like this planes flight modal and although it doesn't fit the meta its not quite as bad as everyone believes. The second game was better but you can be more ambitious with the R-23Ts. Longer range, more off bore etc. Love you content! Congrats on Fairchild!
Mig23 working as intended. It is not a dog fighter. It is an interceptor, full stop. Top speed and long range missiles is what it was for, nothing else.
Somebody asked for more cinematic... Phly delivered.
This is why Phly is daddy.
0:28 sane used to happen w me in the f4c sparrows but they fixed it now
gaijin: new jet with variable sweep wing
phly: wings back = speeeeeeeed soi only wings back
ive won 1v1 dogfigths against f-4es, you just need to use the variable wing sweep. the auto mode is great for general flying but for dogfigths you need to use manual and full forward
The 23 can easily beat al.ost anything american with the sweep wing used right
Except for the f-5s
the intro is SICK
acceleration can be fixed do wing sweep manual aftertake off 100% sweep till 1100 kilometers then go back to auto
Woooow Grape
You should play the Ju-87 D-5 with the MG x12 secondary
Love your vids
"F4c is always a good target for us" hehe oo we f4c and e computer pilots think very similar of the mig ;)
Was so excited to play this not so much anymore since I even think the smt is better. Everyone complaining about it in top tier its pretty funny ima just spade the 21 bis
Yeah, this thing is missing an odd 1000kg of thrust. :)
i love this channel😋
1:33 this sound explains the missiles
>zero recommendations
C'mon, this thing's a flying soviet anime!
It's like you're launching them front aspect at triple the range they're supposed to be launched at.
phly I think this is another foreshadow to a change in meta the mig 23 is stealthy and fast at high altitude just like a super sonic bomber I think bombers are making a return with bomber interceptors at top tier.
Hey Phly, when playing war Thunder I went to the USA planes first then did a little bit of Germany and now I decided to stay in the Russian planes, I’m just wondering what country do you think beginners should go for.
MiG-23 is basically the modern version of Boom and Zoom but with infrared homing missiles.
Привет, почему ты не используешь изменяемую стреловидность крыла? Ведь он делает самолёт более маневренным на малых скоростях.
Hey Phly what do you think about the F4F early?
Thanks for everything through the years!! - i had to say that...
Working as intended comrade ))))
To my dearest RUclipsr, Phly
It has been I while since I’ve seen you in a spitfire. Flying all these jets has been making me miss the old prop gameplay. Please Phly, take out the spitfire MK24 and make yourself find yourself again.
