Brush fishing looks crazy, something we dont really do here. Beauty crappie, well done
I’m learning they can be huddled right into the thick of it, can be frustrating, with all the snags, but rewarding. Thank you for checking it out!
Well done, enough for a good meal and that Gar was cool. Looks like it was a great idea to call that audible, keep up the great work!
Thanks Larry, gar was a surprise catch, usually line pops before landing them. Fish was delicious eating them same day. Good luck on your end!
Another great day sac a lait hunting! Looks like you have them dialed in! That was a slab buddy! Keep em coming!
So much fun and addicting, I wanna go look for trout and reds but every chance I get I’m back searching for sacalait. It’s amazing that big one was so shallow. Couldn’t resist that live shiner lol. Thanks Kelly!
this is a lot of fun, nice catch, bro.
Fishing is the best when you are catching, even without catching it’s nice to get out but can’t beat an action day! Thanks
You dont miss lol good job!!
Lies, I missed 2 lol. Got snagged so much off camera too. Still managed enough to eat. Thanks!
Looks like good times!
Can’t complain! Love the adventure. Thanks
@@LaYakFishing I did a good bit of kayak fishing in the hobie in pac and Lee Ville my back could not take the sitting down part well . I been hitting up grand isle but fresh water is a blast too . Tight lines great videos !
@@kaptkirksphotographyi feel you on that, I love to stand and fish. I love pac, one day I’ll be back, just a far drive, if freshwater keeps producing I’ll stick with that, but I miss trout and reds. Good luck out there
Nice, good to see someone’s catching around here I’ve been fishing lake Martin a lot but haven’t had much luck with the sacalait. last year I caught a 15” at the locks in butte larose
I wanna try Lake Martin soon, and that’s a huge sacalait. Locks holding some big ones. What you get it on?
Good ole Black and chartreuse tube jig
Great job!
Thanks, ready to hit the trout and reds again, if I can get away from freshwater
@@LaYakFishing things have been muddy, you haven’t missed much.
@@fishinwithferg6048at least with freshwater, they’re used to it 😂
@@LaYakFishing truth.
Cool video fam!!
Thank you man! That was a fun trip. thanks for watching
It looked like it!! Yw too!!
Nice video. Where did you launch from and which bayou is it? Thanks
I launch right off the levee, near bayou sorrel. Just scope out with google maps beforehand, I like to find places where there is a backup spot nearby in case first area is a bust. Good luck
You were out at henderson today?
Yep! When did you see me?
@@LaYakFishing me and a buddy were in some green kayaks with a trolling motor on boulevard heading back to kerns, i told him that i thought it was you! How’d you do?
@@t-bruh166 did alright, I think I kept like 8, plus had some throwbacks. Couldn’t really find them stacked up in one spot. Had to keep moving. Caught them all pretty deep. What about yall?
@@LaYakFishing same here caught about 10 kept 5. Them woods are thick after that weather that passed through cant get around as easy. Hopefully water level will start coming down and we can get back out!
@@t-bruh166 thats awesome man, yea can’t wait for level to drop some. Good luck on the next one, at least we caught a few.
