Top notch review, Caleb!
Thanks!
Awesome content! Thank you so much for making such a thorough and helpful review on the K690!
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words 😀
@@CalebThornton You're very welcome. Hope to work with you again soon!
Hey, great video! What boom arm did you use for the mic?
Hey bud. I'm a new sub to the channel having watched a couple of your reviews on some Alienware peripherals I just got. Great content so far, and I truly hope to watch your channel grow! Just wanted to point out as a piece of constructive and friendly criticism. The link to the Fifine on Amazon in the description appears to be an affiliate link (I could be wrong but it seems so). As a matter of etiquette, you'll want to notate any and all affiliate links as such for any tech you link to. You don't HAVE to technically, but some people will be picky about that and you may catch undue flak for this sometime in the future, and the solution is so simple that there's really no reason not to. Also, I do notice you made sure to notate the affiliate links you posted at the bottom of your description, and absolutely give you credit for doing that.
Thanks for the support and the tip! I just need to leave a note down below saying Amazon links are affiliate.
One thing you are missing is the keyboard test while the mic is in the boom
This is good review, this is all info that i need, thx bro, for other don't forget to like
Thank you!
And also holy crap when on a boom arm it sounds great
Yeah, I was really impressed with it. FIFINE has there mics dialed in.
Hello! Thanks for your review. I just got a new laptop that only has usb c ports. Do you know if there is available mini usb to usb c cables that could work with the Fifine k690 mic? Thank you!
Great Review, this may replace my K669B!
Thanks! It's definitely a great option to consider.
Nice
Holy crap that is a quiet keyboard...
Haha those kailh reds filmed and lubed have a really nice sound.
It works really well but how do I stop my breathing in noises in recordings? I thought a pop filter would stop that but it doesn't and I cannot hear it in your review!
Is the boom arm adaper for it study? Will it break if I press on it to hard also just bought it hope I enjoy it!
seems like a cool mic. it's like 20usd difference from the solocast in my area. instantly in my consideration lmao
Oh wow. That's not too big of a difference.
@@CalebThornton Yes! It is! Hahaha. Btw Nice content my guy! Keep it up!
@@danielluswillfredomatuless7429 Thank you! Appreciate the support 😀
What boom arms, pop filter, and shock mount do you recommend?
This something I also would like to know
Can you recommend any good budget boom arms? I'm looking to get a budget mic but not sure on a boom arm.
I am going to be reviewing one in just a couple days on the channel but it is around $45. I do plan on reviewing some even cheaper ones in the future though.
@@CalebThornton thanks man
Is this better than the t669?
How do you think of the old Blue Yeti? is it still worthy?
I can't really say as I just have not used it personally. I know a lot of people still love and use it regularly though. My friend owns it and enjoys it
@@CalebThornton Thx for the reply dude.
@@RyanYu No problem. Sorry I could not help more.
Do you recommend using the pop filter with it?
Yes sounds way better
Hey Caleb, great review! Do you know if it is possible to adjust noise cancelling on that microphone? I have a Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard and it is very loud. I had to return the HyperX Quadcast microphone that I bought because it kept picking up too much background sound including my keyboard. I just want a microphone that is similar to the ones that gaming headsets have where they cancel out the sound that is not your voice. Thanks in advance!
Hi Wow Such Doge, the headsets themselves don't have the feature of canceling noise, but just because the capsule is so small and it's so close to your mouth, not much of the background sound will be picked up. But it's a different story for a standalone microphone, which has a much larger capsule and sits further away from you while closer to the keyboard. If you don't have the RTX voice, then you have to choose between that you sound good but with background sound and you sound not good but with less background sound. Not just HyperX standalone microphones or the ones from our brands, but every desktop microphone will capture background noise. What you can do is only to reduce the amount of it by using an arm stand and lowering the input volume.
Let me know what you guys think of the K690! I was really impressed with it. I want to get FIFINE's more budget mic option now and compare it with sieren mini and solocast.
Seems really cool but rubber cables are yucky looking. Great content once again!
@@kevinzyrkowski Thank you! In a boom arm it is a lot easier to manage as you can route it on the boom arm easily. When its just on the desk it can be a eye sore and annoying though.
@@CalebThornton yeah. I just don’t know if a book arm would damage my desk or not.
Yeah, would want to make sure you don't damage it for sure.
Hi Caleb. I’m glad you did a review of the FiFine mic. I knew you’d like them. 😄
What happened to your lips Caleb?
Cold sores haha
