You are the best caster I’ve ever seen mate. Congratulations
Awesome stuff mate. Probably the best youtuber when it comes down to breaking down how you fish certain structures with certain lures. Great info
Thanks a lot for your support and taking the time to share it Liam. Cheers
You are a bloody legend! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and giving the average joe a chance to actually catch one of these amazing fish.
Cheers Scott. Glad to hear you’re getting some value from it mate.
Thank you Johnny for your wealth of information.... you don’t need to be so helpful but I really appreciate it mate. Watched many of your vids and listened to you on the ALF podcasts to gather as much info as possible to give myself a slight chance of catching these amazing fish. Total respect to ya mate
Been doing my first baby steps with the baitcaster. I’ve been taking my cheap-very basic, but working, baitcasting outfit down the local park to learn how to cast it. I’ve realised in my fishing trajectory I’ve just got to learn how to use one of these. Yr vid was great, obviously though way ahead of where I’m at, at this stage. Just mainly landbased too.
Great explanations and tactics John. Looking forward to the next video.
Cheers mate. Glad you’re enjoying em
Awesome vid mate! Keep them coming, makes the day when you start with a Johnny Jack Vid 🎣🐟😁
Hahaha. Great stuff mate. Thanks for your comment.

Great vid mate. Very informative!
you're spot on, I caught my only MJ off the noosa rock wall with a dark red zerek prawn open spool, bricked me for 10mins. btw these new vids as informative as they are, are the biggest tease, please release a vid of you slaying soon!
Hahaa. Believe me I’m
Not teasing deliberately. ;) I got a beautiful Jew today so that’ll have to come up soo.
Really helpful tips, and thanks for sharing mate 👍👍
Lots of insight there mate, great to see how you think your way through the scenario. 😎
Would love to see the shrimp vid
As its my go too
Loving the info m8
Cheers Drew. I’ll have to get on it ;)
We going to get more jack videos this season legend
Looking at your lucky craft pointer 100XD, I notice your hooks and split ring are kind of big compare what I have on mine (hooks that came with the package). Doesn't that kill action of the lure? If not, what hooks/split ring size would you recommend changing? And can you actually cast 10gram lure on a 40 lbs test?
Those jackalls are dynamite for Barra and jacks up here in NT. Maybe a different colour for jacks though? Black/gold and red seem to work best for me on rock walls 👍
They’d be my pick to mate. Love the Squirrels.
Nice job mate. Well done 👍
wow great video, how accurate r u in your casting so good
Legendary!!!
Great video mate, very helpful info
Jackall squirell vs lucky craft XD, which one is better in term of catching Magrove jack?
Some great tips there John, but do they actually catch fish :-)
Always something to think about when watching your videos.
Pete.
@Justyn Norman Yeah, only pulling his leg. Unusual to not see him catch a few during a video. Gotta love this channel :-)
any in depth tips on how you use the ipilot would be great. like how you set a track or go with current to maximize time casting rather than driving around.
I’ll get on it Ben. Cheers mate ;)
Fantastic Info - have you used the DD Atomic Shiners ?
Not yet mate. Only ever heard great things on em. Gotta get a few and try em our
Fishing idol mate👌🏼 thanks for sharing ya knowledge legend awesome vids🤙🏼
Cheers Jayden. Stoked you get something from em.
Just wondering if you have a video on controlling front mount electric motor? Just recently stepped up and got one.
I don’t mate but I’ll get something together in the coming weeks.
Awesome look forward to it.. I used mine but it ran flat pretty easily so thinking I was not using it properly
Accurate casting 😊👌
Greetings from Germany 😎
Gday Seb ;) thanks for tuning in mate.
nice video😊👍😍
Good tips there
How long before you go back to an area after giving it a good peppering?
Maybe a halfy or so ;)
Awesome info as usual
Cheers Tony ;)
thanks for your tips! where do you get your trebles from? and what are the best? bkk? owner? thanks!
I like BKK and Owners. I hit the specialty stores in Brissy and Anglers or Addict on the coast. They have the BKKs.
mylurebox thank you very much for taking the time of replying questions!
Best fishing 👍👍💓
Cheers mate. ;)
Great video mate keen to see the shrimp video. Would these techniques work up here in mackay along the rock walls in the pioneer river ?
For sure they would those shrimp are dominant.
What about if ur fishing from the land
I like the show
What where when
How to Doughnut in 18 minutes😁 just kidding mate, unusual to see you not catch fish with your dead eye casting🤙
Hahaha. Brilliant stuff. Been deciding to just throw something together even when I’m chewing donuts and copping the bitter taste Hhahaa
Foot pedal? Why not
I’ve got one and used em in the past. Just prefer the lanyard I reckon. The spot lock is epic. Though I haven’t used a recent foot pedal.
Fella never even caught a fish
