Awesome stuff mate. Probably the best youtuber when it comes down to breaking down how you fish certain structures with certain lures. Great info

Thank you Johnny for your wealth of information.... you don’t need to be so helpful but I really appreciate it mate. Watched many of your vids and listened to you on the ALF podcasts to gather as much info as possible to give myself a slight chance of catching these amazing fish. Total respect to ya mate

Been doing my first baby steps with the baitcaster. I’ve been taking my cheap-very basic, but working, baitcasting outfit down the local park to learn how to cast it. I’ve realised in my fishing trajectory I’ve just got to learn how to use one of these. Yr vid was great, obviously though way ahead of where I’m at, at this stage. Just mainly landbased too.

Looking at your lucky craft pointer 100XD, I notice your hooks and split ring are kind of big compare what I have on mine (hooks that came with the package). Doesn't that kill action of the lure? If not, what hooks/split ring size would you recommend changing? And can you actually cast 10gram lure on a 40 lbs test?

Those jackalls are dynamite for Barra and jacks up here in NT. Maybe a different colour for jacks though? Black/gold and red seem to work best for me on rock walls 👍
