Careful what you dream for, pack your gear and geton a bird and go to Sandpit Queen Charlotte Islands, hang around the cages, bars and see how you fit in, it's still out there, but the greenhorns (yes the loggers lingo) usually brag, be honest, and tell them you're a greenhorn, you might want to take a serious look at a gym, and be able to jog a couple miles, non stop, it's not a kids play job, take some chainsaw safety courses, as it might be a second loaders job, chokers are not all that common, my 2 cents, I ended up as a HD Mech. but did my tour in the Devil's Club jerkin chokers behind a D6 with a foul mouthed cat skinner. BC loggers always get more wood , with less men , like US loggers always get the less wood, with more men , and a hostile trade practice.....yeah.
