    Great video - I'm looking at installing compost heating for my greenhouses. Currently heat with a wood boiler but when I cut trees the branches are always waste - I could chip them and use that for heat too!!!!!! all uses the same piping!

    any chance make electrsity collecting heat somehow?

      That would be way too inefficient.

      There is not enough heat. You need steam pressure to make electricity, so that means you need boiling hot temperature.

    Oh, petroleum did log the wood, truck the wood, saw mill then chip the wood, then delivery, then on site management.. so petroleum energy step of the way, and the tubing is plastic petroleum products... so much for green

      Jean pain, a pioneer in this field of work not only developed and refined these compost heating systems but also ran all his farm machinery with bio methane produced in a biodigester fed with manure and food scraps. As they say, the light bulb inventor worked by candle light, the typewriter inventor wrote down his ideas using a pen.
