Here's how I make a Solo Stove Heat Deflector Start to Finish! Solo Stove Bonfire - amzn.to/3M8qyMO As an Amazon Associate I Earn from Qualifying purchases.
I was thinking about this after being gifted one of these expensive wood wasters. The design I imagined had a shiny steel cone pointing down at the fire, which would reflect the heat outward instead of straight back down at the fire.
Question - Do you have a certain recommended height above flame for the deflector legs? The height seems very high, making it a bit less stable but that may be the required height. Thanks for the great video!
Did you, or could you, make a surround enclosure for a Solo Bonfire...like the one on the right side of screen at the 0:52 timestamp? thanks. love the reflectors
This is some AWESOME work! I saw your instagram pages and really talented work. I sent you an email for an estimate for a custom solo bonfire stove heat deflector shield.
Interested in getting one of these. I will email Mike later for quote. Was looking for feedback on how well they perform from anyone who has purchased. Any feedback appreciated. I have the Bonfire model.
Hi! Sent you 2 emails with quote request and never heard back. If other people who sent requests reading this please comment if you heard back from Mike. Thanks!
Great video! Awesome product! A MUST for those cold chilly night!
Excellent idea! Just sent an email. Looking forward to getting one of these for my Bonfire.
Nice video bud I really enjoyed watching it. Always doing top notch work. 👌
Thanks!
Love your best deflector more than the Solo Stove ones!! Do you think you will ever make one for Yukon? I would love to order one!!!
Great question, show Yukon some love too! There are some of us "Go Big or Go Home!" Yukon owners out here :)
Got mine today and it's SOLID🤘🔥
Mike, what would you charge for a deflector that would be used on a bonfire 2.0? With and without a design.
Sorry, I’m no longer making these 😢

Hi. I love that table that was built around it. I would like to know with a table round it would the heat deflector work?

Any where from 14-18” seems optimal. When I first started it was 20” which was high then dropped it down.
Excellent workmanship on these heat deflectors! How can I order one for a Solostove Bonfire? Thanks.

Thanks. The wood table around it? I’m sure that can be done, but I’m sure it would be expensive to ship.
I’m interested in purchasing. How much is the cost?

Would this be a great addition for using a stove under a aluminum covered patio?
probably would help mitigate the heat, but I don't quote me on it...lol
Awesome
How much for the deflector? Nothing fancy but push heat out! For bonfire!
*looks at logo on deflector*
MHD!
you selling these locally? I'm in Salem
Yes, but not local to you...lol
What is the average price? Thanks
Sorry currently not making them at this time.

How much for a Yukon
How much for these?
I have a ranger... Can I buy one from you? I am in Canada though.
Sorry I'm not making them for the ranger.
How does one move this to tend the fire? I can imagine how how this gets and can't think of a good way to build a handle.
You don’t need to move it to get the fire, more than enough room to add wood, or move wood in there.
So how well would you say it works? Is it as good as you expected?
People say they work pretty good, I have never first hand tried it though.

Where do you source your steel from specifically for the circular top ?
A local metal supplier. I use a couple of different ones.
How do I get one?!? 👌👏👏🙏

Instead of making your standoffs as 3 pcs. Why not plasma the entire standoff at once and eliminate the fixture and weld operation

Customers say that make a pretty big difference, and customers are recommending their friends so I’m thinking it must be working.
Are the dxf files for these available? Thank you
Sorry, these files are not available
How do I order one for my Yukon? I don’t need anything decorative on top. Thanks
