Before the US faction update in Panzerstorm, this really fits the beginning of the German blitzkrieg. Just charging to the Benelux countries as a German with this theme is just perfect atmosphere.

I really miss older battlefield games, I was so good specially with the killing sound, meanwhile felt more like a more open field specially with vehicles resupply posts. And 2042 looks amazing the scifi but what was truly disappointing was the no campaign, battlefield used to make such good war stories. Now 2042 feels like a battlefield 4 on steroids but recycled

Der Tiger rollt den Hügel im zweiten Sektor hoch bei dieser Musik einfach meegaa, dann in Stellung und Attacke 🎉😊
Literally the embodiment of Breakthrough in one map. This and St Quentin scar are the poster children of BT. Mass infantry attacks, tanks rolling across the fields and an air supremacy battle being waged for control of the skies. The enthrallment of being a soldier running along side your tanks seeing a wave of soldiers running across the field with planes dogfighting in the sky is the joy that keeps me coming back to Breakthrough for my fix. Except 2042 BT. They took away Attack helicopters and Jets and lowered the tank count to just 1 per team. The map reworks have cannibalized the layouts and shortened the maps. Last Gen BT Breakaway & Hourglass were in my opinion the two best maps in that game for last Gen BT & they ruined them beyond recognition. I used to praise 2042 BT pre Nov 2022 but now I just hate it. 2042 BT has become a disgrace & has gotten away from what I've come to love about Breakthrough.
