@TheDangerTaco I have suggestions rather allowing fk father to take controls of decision of team of who to kick. It should be a team decision. Roll dizz is not wrong of his coach tactic and decisions but every coach has different his strength and tactic. You can correct me if you want
ive always had a problem with fk. it seems how i see him the coaches that have managed him feel the same way. with the success of his mechanics fk has found himself suffering from the consequences of being so good combined with the mental fortitude that shouldve been built. you cant build a team around him: if you give two less mechanical players that are good at supporting solo plays that fk goes for, the other team will break thu the cracks of that team, since as seen before you cant win a 1v3. then fk (with all the power) feels the need to drop his teammates that are "holding him back". same goes the other way. if you get teammates that are incredibly talented mechanically, then he wont mesh well with his teammates because of his "do it yourself" playstyle and feel threatened that they wont let him do his thing. plus, with his ego and power, he will do everything to fit what he wants. if and ONLY IF he realizes that his mentality is the one holding the team back, then he can go on to be a great player. thats where his dad comes in. fks dad is probably the bane of his sons career. he tries to involve himself too much and influences fk to develop such a selfish mentality. roll dizz is 110% correct.
I am on the side of Roll Dizz here, because everything that he is saying tracks with what I already know about these players specifically and North American players in general. But I can't help but notice that he is definitely downplaying how he talked to his players about their performances, especially after a loss. NOBODY wants a coach who is a "military drill sergeant" constantly on their ass, yelling at them, and telling them that they aren't good enough. The best coaches in my opinion are the ones who show a lot of empathy to their players, and actually factor in how their players feel into their decisions. Yes you should have a tough conversation about losing to teams you should beat every time, but that conversation should not be him yelling at them while they sit in silence. As an athlete, I always resented coaches who acted that way, and I would absolutely have fired them and replaced them if I had that power. Of course there is also the problem that the coach actually doesn't have real power with decision making, and the players can be as lazy and lackluster as they want with no real consequences. I think that is a dynamic that needs to change within orgs before coaches have any real power across the board. Of course I don't think all of the power should transfer to a coach/manager away from the players, but there needs to be a two way street of communication and accountability. If Raul is putting in effort from his side and he has no recourse if his players aren't listening to him, what else can he really do?
I think what needs to be understood is that Roll Dizz was actually in the military before he was a pro. So it would make sense that that is the type of coaching style he understands and uses.
dont foprget this is just roll dizzs side of things, not saying he was wrong about everything but this is him after he just got dropped and still salty about decison, the players also said he wouldnt be there for scrims and they couldnt get ahold of him but i think both partys r at fault but i dont think roll dizz is 100% victim
I don't think he's 100% the victim either, and he admits as much that he somewhat "gave up" after a while instead of continuing his duties. As for the dad, his Twitch username is his full name so that's why Roll mentions that
Loved the insight, the Lavar Ball comparison is friggin hilarious. Didn't expect that coming either
There's a half second delay between "Daddy" and my laugh cuz my brain legit was like "wait... did he actually say that??"
@@TheDangerTaco the way you froze on that, the expression from Roll Dizz priceless

18:57, without even realizing you were gonna burst into laughter, I also laughed too. The most out of the blue comment of this entire vid.
Great video. Especially seeing the perspective of a psych person.
My field is finally useful for me!!!
Thank you for your perspective Dangerous Taco
