Is it a dual air pump since it has two outlets? Have you tried the other outlet? I'm using the German made air pump called Schego. It is super quite however no dual outlets.
After I plugged in the airline hosing, the noise reduced significantly. In an effort to further reduce noise, I placed the air pump on an old sponge so it absorbed a fair amount of vibration.

Yes, it's a dual air pump. I am actually using both outlets. I've never heard of Schego, I might look into it for my next pump.
