Great video. My 12 year old grandson comes over and wants to watch your channel.with his grandpa and I on the big screen in stereo. He is an absolute tractor buff.
Was a Deere mechanic back in the late 70’s early 80’s. Awesome work you do. Can I make a small suggestion. When you are lifting with the crane, add a tag line to the load.. much safer then actually holding the load. Love the show
Great video LOVE YOUR CONTENT. I WORK AS A MOBILE AG MECHANIC HERE IN ontario Canada 42 years doing same job.Just repaired a 2188 axial flow Red combine unloading auger .Customer hit a tree and broke the swivel housing on unloading auger. FUNNY TO SEE.
Another thing you make it look so easy but we know better it’s because of your experience and your knowledge and excellence in how you take pride in job
Deere Management in cost-cutting workshop: "Tell us where we can cut some cost out of our combines". Engineer: "The auger bearing carrier is reported to never fail so let's start there". Believe me, as an engineer in durable goods manufacturing, I lived this until I quit in disgust.
They must of been quite thorough their analysis, because some of the repairs needed in these videos, you think should never happen. Human error always happens necessitating repair, but wheels falling iff
It has been a dry and crazy harvest. Thank you for taking time when you can to make these videos. They are aways interesting. Thank you for keeping harvest rolling. God bless.
Thanks for the great video ZK. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable to watch. Thanks to Joseph for bringing the parts to you and lending a hand in the repair of the grain auger. I hope this farmer had some form of insurance, otherwise this was an expensive repair job. Oh my. Never saw a grain auger come apart like that so another great learning experience at the hands of ZK. Yeah 👍. Thanks for showing this process to us ZK. Things went well for you. Thanks to Joseph for helping you. Interesting process. Good learning tool. Thanks ZK. The Iowa farm boy. Steve. 😊🇺🇸
Another great repair. Please wait for a buddy when the repair would be safer - your family needs you 💚💛 Retired master tech with MBenz & BMW (47 years) New Hampshire
Shortest life expectancy I've had for an unloading auger is one week. First incident was a pole similar to this one,, second was a barn a week later. 😅
These power tools is crazy. I got a brand new 3/8" from Skil it looks a lot like yours. And it takes 500 torque. And it is brush les with 5 year warranty. The best is that it speed down when the nut get loose
Super Job kool content your new truck is awesome love all the lights especially at the tool boxes. Really like that new 3/8 stubby great tool! Keep up with great videos!!
That was a very nice job completed by both of you .. That's the worst thing about the time change .running out of the day light ..make sure you get well stocked up on torches. 👍👍
Maybe he can add some LED’s to the tip of the crane so it can act as a light tower in the darkness. Especially if the harvest will be going into the fall more.
Saw plenty of those as well as forage harvesters chutes that met their fate. We used to say that it’s not an operator error but rather a power pole that moved at the last second. 😂
Somehow a truck driver dented the unloading auger on a 680 with his exhaust stack. Big ol dent on the auger but his stack was unscathed. Boss man was not happy but trucker paid for it
SUCKS but a least no one hurt due to electrical damages. My dad wacked a tree many years ago with a 7720 and we had to dump a whole load of corn on ground because it got contaminated with hydraulic oil
Zeth, how you coming with you 955? I have a completely restored 212 that I like to trade for a 855 if someone has one,the work you do is alsome, the correct tools are a must, bless you. ,ps tell josh hello
not sure what gen my 3/8 gun is but mine i have yet to find a mower blade i could not get off and at one point there was a few that i had put back on with my 1/2 drive gun all mine are milwaukee also
@ Thank you..but I wonder why not put a pressure relief valve or even a burst disk in the line so an expensive cylinder isn’t wrecked when an over pressure event occurs.
@@frankblack1481 typically PRV’s are used for system pressure to protect pumps. A burst valve could’ve been put in but then price point goes through the roof if you start putting all sorts of stuff that is useless 99% of the time. Ultimately this is operator error, engineering can only anticipate so much stupidity.
Did that with a lexion ripped the lines and snapped a pole just goes to show ya how shitty junk deere is can't even hit a pole without doing damage to the machine
Great video. My 12 year old grandson comes over and wants to watch your channel.with his grandpa and I on the big screen in stereo. He is an absolute tractor buff.
That is awesome!
I never cease to be amazed at your abilities. You are a master tech. Love the channel
That makes two of us. I am completely in awe of this gentleman's proficiency.
The way you explain is so easy to understand, very suitable for beginners

Great job Zeth you sure get some interesting jobs farmers and John Deere keep you busy
Keep up with the good work love watching your videos on RUclips God bless

GREAT job, ZK MASTER TECH THANKS FOR SHARING NEEDED MY REPAIR VIDEO 🇺🇸✌️
amazing you had all the parts on hand!
Whoever set that pole must have done a good job by the look of things.
Good to see you back. Better’n the drivel YT’s been shoveling.
Another awesome vid! Great job! Keep the deere's running!

And the pole Wins Every Time!!!!!
And day turned to night, well done
It’s important to test the strength of the power poles bordering the field at least once a year
😂
Saw plenty of those as well as forage harvesters chutes that met their fate. We used to say that it’s not an operator error but rather a power pole that moved at the last second. 😂
This is what you call pilot air FAA and Transportation Board needs to do an inspection on this one
When I heard “Farm Assault Vehicle” I hit like.
To get the pin out of the Tourette , you can take off the small cover just below it if you don’t want or are able to swing the unload tube out
Gen 2 stubby is Legit! Its Ludicrous mode for Milwaukee.
Dam good job you two.
Somehow a truck driver dented the unloading auger on a 680 with his exhaust stack. Big ol dent on the auger but his stack was unscathed. Boss man was not happy but trucker paid for it
Another impressive video!
Wow, ruptured cylinder!
Tell Sloan they need to allow us to take your truck home at night
Thought I heard a shout out for "splinage" there for a second. :)
Cool video!
You need to send this video to the Larsons
Great Job, just curious how You got the one Cylinder pin out of the bracket. Thanx for sharing.😃
Isn't it nice to have good equipment to work with on a job!
You should sell me your old gen1 impact lol. Good content i love it!
Combines have revolutionized harvesting, How many combine do you have?
Thanks.
enginering at its very best yes nothing is simple anymore
Good stuff. Thanks. I also like Larson farms
You can get a daylight attachment for the crane for when you work at night
I be thinking if I owned a green combine maybe it would be a good idea to put in a few filters to prevent the shrapnel from ruining everything?
SUCKS but a least no one hurt due to electrical damages. My dad wacked a tree many years ago with a 7720 and we had to dump a whole load of corn on ground because it got contaminated with hydraulic oil
It will take some pressure busting the cylinder open 😅
Can you please do more tool tours
Has Deere been pushing codify and new way to clock in and out of job I'm a tech in northern Illinois
Hi ZK
This must have happened while backing up?
I was thinking the same thing. Backing up is like driving around with your pickup tailgate down. 9,543 things can happen and they are all bad
Zeth, how you coming with you 955? I have a completely restored 212 that I like to trade for a 855 if someone has one,the work you do is alsome, the correct tools are a must, bless you. ,ps tell josh hello
Buddy just got his new Deere S780 and one of his pumps went 50 hours on it. Deeres quality has went for crap. The new ones are down all the time.
Another great video can’t get enough keep up the great content
😎👍
not sure what gen my 3/8 gun is but mine i have yet to find a mower blade i could not get off and at one point there was a few that i had put back on with my 1/2 drive gun all mine are milwaukee also
How come when you work on this stuff you make it look fun an easy... BUT when I do it it makes me wanna drink a 30 pack
We got 11 inches in the last 8 days
No circuit relief valve for that cylinder?
Where did you find the boot for the new stubby?!?! Everywhere I’ve looked it still shows pre-order only…
Ohio power tool. But now it shows pre order. Must have gotten lucky.
What’s the details on that sliver step ladder?
The buy thing is awesome everybody needs a laugh you incoulded
Anyone else see the rabbit run across the road?
I'm surprised you don't wear gloves when you work with steel every day.
👍
👍👍👍
The cylinder rupture is inexcusable.
The ruptured cylinder is due to pressure intensification. That’s not an engineering or QC issue.
@ Thank you..but I wonder why not put a pressure relief valve or even a burst disk in the line so an expensive cylinder isn’t wrecked when an over pressure event occurs.

Why don't you take the service truck home?
Bom dia patrão tudo blz sou do Brasil trabalho com mecânico e operador de colheitadeiras e tratorista como faz pra trabalhar aí amigo nas temporadas
Feeding family taking care of business comes first , making videos comes 6th
Who else saw the fox. 4. 35
ok
You guys don't get to take your service trucks home with you
I do but if the shop is on my way home I don't.
Is this an insurance claim?
Probably depending on policy, but at one time if it was a tree, it was an act of God and covered, an electric pole an act of man and not covered.
🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🤩🤩😍👍👍
,, сколько можно болтать
Did that with a lexion ripped the lines and snapped a pole just goes to show ya how shitty junk deere is can't even hit a pole without doing damage to the machine
first
Gen 1 is a way better gun the gen 2 is unreliable and fails.
That's not good info for his sponsors now stop it 😂
Another great video can’t get enough keep up the great content
