Thanks for the correction! I can't believe I forgot about robot chicken! 🥲 it's definitely cool seeing him in the video though! It's a perfect video, and perfect song to show nerd culture in the late 90s, early 2000s 😅

The last scene he learned all the words backwards, so he could show the scene in reverse and have it look perfect. He is a genius?
You’re Beautiful was a parody that Al went to the singer and asked for permission to do. The singer said yes but when Atlantic Records got wind of it, they immediately said No. This happened the day before Al was to release his album. As a middle finger to Atlantic Records, he went a head and released the parody online (meaning he made no money from it). So yes, his “editing Wikipedia” line was another dig at Atlantic records.

Grapefruit Diet is great too although no video. It's a parody of Cherry Poppin Daddies-Zoot Suit Riot. Jerry Springer is good too and he just made a cartoon video for it. It's a spoof of Barenaked Ladies-One Week. The other great one that gets overlooked is That's your Hosroscope for today is an original song but parodying the style of Third-wave ska(think Mighty Mighty Bostones) and this year 23 years after it's release, weird Al made a video

And also thanks for the correction on how to pronounce Yankovic 🙏
Seth Green did a great job voicing Joker from the Mass Effect games, too.
A working model of a star system is called an orrery. Also, the guy you couldn't remember was Seth Green. He played Oz in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.
That's Seth Green, Scott Evil in 'Austin Powers' and Oz in Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, among other things.
No other reactors seem to know who MC Escher is or get the joke.
If you don't listen to hip hop one of the things you will miss is that Weird Al is a very good rapper. He's got good flow.
Weird Al has a cameo in Epic Rap Battles of History, Isaac Newton v Bill Nye the science guy. A double whammy of nerdy goodness.
The guy in front of the action figures is Seth Green. He was on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and on one or two of the Austin Powers movies
The guy with the action figures is Seth Green
Like I said on your “Amish Paradise” reaction, Al is the G.O.A.T.
I’m roughly the same age of Al, and I’ve been a fan since “My Bologna”hit it big on the Dr. Demento show in the latte 1970’s.
11:15 - You're thinking of "orrery," which is a rotating model of the solar system.
Thanks for the correction. I'm not sure how I fumbled so badly with such a simple word haha. 🙏😊
2:44
The gent started lipping the song, and other spots.
He's heard it before..
I DO give him credit for calling out Donny Osmond.
I see what you mean. I went back to check, but I promise you I haven't 😅 I ever so slightly know Riding Dirty by Chamillionaire, and so, I presume I was mouthing that. But I honestly don't know what to tell you other than that. Thanks for watching regardless though, I appreciate the comment nonetheless :)
Seth Green from:
Can’t Hardly Wait
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Robot Chicken
Austin Powers (played evil dude’s son)
Great reaction, but also I was impressed that a young man knew many of the items & references...my American daughter is a few yrs older than u &;she didn't understand a majority...but that might be might fault 🫣😩
Thank you so much :)
Nahh, don't blame yourself for that haha. I just always loved nerd culture 😅
It took half the video before I realized you were not blind, just using the word blind differently than I was used to.
Haha, I've had some people mention that before, so perhaps I need to think of a different word for it, as I've always used blind to mean I haven't seen it before. I'll try and think of something to change it to perhaps 😅
I am *significantly* nerdier than a lot of the stuff in this video.
6:30 Weird Al Said he was the "Whitest White guy he could think of"
Streetband did a banger...
"Toast"
Haha, I'll make sure to check it out! Added it to my list 😅
One my favorite fun videos...
I hope you recognize some of the more nerdy pop culture references in the video… the formula in the background on the wall when Donny Osmond is dancing is the Schrödinger Equation … and yes I’m totally white and nerdy
OMG I’m impressed by the amount of pop culture references you got
When he's editing Wikipedia you were right he was dissing someone. He made a parody of a song but then he wasn't allowed to release it. I can't remember what song it was for but he was mad. And just remember Bill Gates is a Nerd.
He did a cover of James Blunt your beautiful called it your pitiful artist ok'd it but Atlantic Records (who's page he's editing) didn't want it released
I Gott one for you. ERB Issac Newton vs Bill Nye
Al kills that ERB
Donny Osmond is in this because, as Al said, he is the ultimate nerdy white guy.
'diagram of the solar system' -- orrery. And yes, I had to look up the spelling, that's one of those words that wants to add extra syllables!
I think you're thinking of an orrery. It's a mechanical model of the solar system.
haha yep! That's the word I was thinking of! I used to have a small desktop orrery, but the gears broke a while back unfortunately. Thanks for correcting me :)
The red headed guy is Seth Green. He wasn't in Hangover, I don't think. He does the voice of the fat kid in Family Guy....I think the characters name is Chris.
Al said, I am white and nerdy, for real but….I’ve done ok.
You talk about him being big in the 2000's, and yet you mention songs from the 80's and 90's. He was big when he started back in the 80's; the man's a genius with the word play
Lol nice reaction
Love the beastie boys tshirt!!!!!
That guy that you think 🤔 is the guy from the hangover movie that’s Seth Green the voice of Chris the oldest son of Peter Griffin in the Family Guy cartoon Show and also Dr. Evil’s Son in the Austin Powers Trilogy
Good on ya mate!
Grapefruit Diet is great too although no video. It's a parody of Cherry Poppin Daddies-Zoot Suit Riot. Jerry Springer is good too and he just made a cartoon video for it. It's a spoof of Barenaked Ladies-One Week. The other great one that gets overlooked is That's your Hosroscope for today is an original song but parodying the style of Third-wave ska(think Mighty Mighty Bostones) and this year 23 years after it's release, weird Al made a video
mine sweeper is kinda cool. you just cant be impatient
You should find a sarcastic buddy to start a channel and you could collaborate as The Toaster and the Roaster, it would be great.
Haha, that would honestly be amazing. I could only imagine the chaos 😬
@@TheToaster1155 you could have fun one rips the movie the other focus on the good bits during the wrap up. Both could comment good and bad during the viewing, otherwise it’s not actually a reaction. For April fools you could switch roles.
Please, it's YANKOVIC.
😅 My bad. I've had lots of people correct me, so I'll never make that mistake again.
Why Donny Osmond? Al could not think of anyone else "whiter" than Donny. I think Donny is still the whitest person alive.
Maybe try reacting to the Beastie Boys as you are wearing this shirt! Love your content, keep it up!
IMHO you pause way too much; however, given that you are the only reactor I've ever seen realize that it is Donny Osmond dancing with Weird Al, you have earned both my respect, a Like and a comment. Well done my friend; Well done!!
You know how you're NOT a nerd? You don't the deity that is The Weird. But, you missed Seth Green (Austin Powers, Buffy, Voice of Chris in Family Guy), and recognized Donnie Osmond, so you're certainly white...🤣
Haha! I'm very annoyed I didn't recognise Seth Green, as I loved him in stuff like Robot Chicken.
But I can certainly confirm that I am indeed white 😅
Seth Green
Most people I've seen reacting to this recognize EITHER Key & Peele OR Donny Osmond but not both. Plus you recognized Seth Green at all, even if you didn't remember his name. Sadly you along with most everyone else didn't notice Judy Tenuta.
um, he was big in the 80s
Hello. I hope you're doing well. That's all.
I'm much better after dealing with some struggles lately :)
Thank you for the support ❤️
No fanny pack? Cargo pants are more manly.
