That means all NPCs that social aggrod initially will also target soda, because he is at this time the only person in combat. With his Nameplate addon you can look at the different colors of red and you will notice that mobs that are aggro on soda will be bright red, while the one the tank had for a few seconds was a darker red. This was indeed all on soda, first of all he had no business at the front if he is not the maintank. If he pulls aggro, he is the one who has to LOS the caster to get them into close range, you would expect the same for a healer that often get aggro from untanked casters. And yes, mobs attack the closes target if they are rooted by a frost nova, but the nova animation was going off when soda was already dying. Bersker stance also only gives 10% extra damage, which is just overkill in this situation. With the amount of damage he was hit by, not even def stance could have saved him, but thats for debate. There are only a few things that could have been done by other player to save him, but that can't be expected with literaly ms to think about. Priest shield could have been an instant buffer to give time to react with health potion, but shield still triggers the global and she still has to follow up with a flash heal that takes another 1,5 seconds. The other tank could have used challenging shout if he realised earlier that all initial aggro was on soda. And one of the mages could have counter spelled the 1,5 second cast from the sorccerer. This would have just been a godlike play if anyone had the awareness to react this fast, therefor it just can't be expected from a human that played the same video game for many hours a day over multiple weeks. At the end, nothing of this would have been necessary if soda followed one of the most important rules. Let the tank pull.

It's not that serious. He body pulled, he sweeping strikes attacks and whirlwinds or some shit and he died. Isn't the mages or tanks fault. Just a complacent mistake

i dont understand why tanks in classic are so bad that they need to play without tank items ( no shield no tank stance ) just to be able to get and hold aggro , its so weird and annoying being forced to play aggresive and then you get 2 tapped by 3 mobs auto attacks
The sad part is soda is not even the first clown that isn’t paying attention, aggroes 5 elite scarlet crusade mobs, misplays the situation entirely and dies ;D
for the soda clip, the blue health bar is because they're LoS'd & don't see him. aggro levels are displayed by grey (no aggro) yellow (about to aggro) & red (aggro'd)
when a mob gets rooted, agro swaps to anyone in range if they cant reach the tank.. the MT was around the corner so they all swung on him at the same time
soda's death really shows how bad people are at wow. by the time the root comes out soda is literally 1 hit from death with an arcane missile about to hit him in the face, the nova did nothing (though it wouldve killed him)

the Addon doesn't fully work for me. When I try to load into a later Guide, with an older Character, nothing happens, nothing loads. But I already posted on their Discord and they've sent me a ¿solution? for it, I haven't tried it out yet, since it meant to „purge all Data" Kinda don't wanna delete the current progress of another Character tho. It's prolly a bit buggy if you use the free Version and then load into the premium one, without purging all Data.

@@starczarar well, it is not "sustainable", the point of the guild is to raid, there just isn't much else to do in the game in general, so yeah, I don't mind that the grind to 60 and to gear up is treacherous because that's all there is to it anyways, people will or will not get there, the ones that raid will have done it over all the people that quit or didn't get there and that makes the raids (which are the end-game and the crowning achievement of the guild) actually special, otherwise it'd just be a time sink I honestly feel like you are missing the whole point of HC, what you are saying ruins the game is the whole allure of it, of course it sucks when something bad happens but that's what makes surviving so exhilarating, of course there'll be weaker willed people that'll quit but that's what makes the people that say "we go agane" more beloved and respected, of course it sucks to have your 50+ char die but that's content baby
