Smallest unit of matter? Well, an electron is rather debatably described as a “unit of matter” - but, being a small part of an atom, it's certainly a lot smaller than an atom. Also, both physics and chemistry study properties of matter. Which one you pick depends on the type of property you are considering.
Just when you thought it was safe to read your comments: An atom is not larger than an electron. An electron is a negative-charge particle that orbits the nucleus of the atom... as part of the atom, the electron is smaller... as is the neutron-- positive charge.... Thanks again for great quiz.
Yes, I probably should have worded that question differently.🙃
That is what I answered.
I think the answer was correct. The question was what is the smallest unit, not thing. An atom is the smallest unit, made up of different types of particles. An electron is a subatomic particle, not a unit.
I just re-read my question and I think it's also correct, given the wording.
@@Quizzes4U Tà, mate ;)
I missed 9, the Cleopatra got me didn't know she was a Pharaoh...
She wasn't.
46/50 should have been better! Thanks for the fun!
I correctly answered 38/50.
40 out of 50!
43 out of 50. Should I feel superior? Compared to the average citizen, I'd say yes.
46/50. Most of these questions are those you'd find on grade-school tests. I really shouldn't have missed the ones I did. Bring back the harder quizzes!
. I also had 46/50. (Trump would score 0/50)
@@torvilasulvstle362Biden would ask “Where’s my jello?”
Trump would ask: "Who is my wife.?"@@markwolfshohl6562
I got all right except one😊
As always, enjoyed the video a lot. Great way to spend a little time on a Friday afternoon. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it
I am worried about how many people in my social environment can't even answer the simplest general knowlegde questions. I always get the arguments "I'm just not interested in these topics" or "I usually don't try to learn those things out of my head." Like bro, me neither, thats just called "being part of society."
I enjoyed it. Thank you!
48/50 I was never good at chemistry, physics and mathematics, they were my worst nightmare. Hated the stuff🤣
The composition of matter is actually physics - what matter is made of, (it's composition). Quarks for example! Physics also concerns itself with how matter behaves in say electric fields, (the large hydron collider for example). Chemistry is merely to do with how various atoms and molecules join and break apart.
45/50
I homeschool my grandson every afternoon. We always watch your videos. Many thanks
That's great. I love it when I read comments like this.
43 out of 50. Super quiz
38/50
46 plus the bonus question. I’m over 70!
Loving these quizzes, Leonardo davinci
Great quiz thanks again Ben I had 49/50 bonus is the four ninja turtles 👍👍😁
I managed 48/50. I said physics instead of chemistry and Bronte instead of Austen. Excellent set of mid knowledge questions.
39/50. Which I'm pleased with.
42/50 ... too much geography though. How about more questions relating to zoology, food, society, architecture, literature, vocabulary?
Really love your quizzes. I dropped 3 today. Room for improvement.
Awesome 👍 Thank you
38/50..Good n tough selection of questions❤
46 /50 over 50. Way over!
Thanks! 49/50 Caravaggio. I dispute your smallest particle of matter.
Thank you. Yes, with hindsight I could have worded that question better.
The electron is smaller than an atom, and is a fundamental particle! I think you are quite right to dispute this question, (17).
42/50. Happily on the improve.
46/50...The Roman Forum
50/50 Productive way of spending a lazy Friday afternoon....LOL. Enjoying time plus exercising this "old" mind...LOL. Have a great weekend all. To all in the USA....happy Independence day and have a safe one. USA citizen here. 🎆🎇🧨
44/50. I enjoyed the Quiz
45/50 pleased with that, thanks.
Pass 👏 Cape Town South Africa 🌍♥️
Wow! At age 70 I got 70% (35/50). Happy with my performance.
Forty correct answers!
Oooh, thought you'd never ask!!! Donatello, Verocchio... taught Leonardo da Vinci... Michelangelo Buonarroti, Raffaele Sanzio, Earlier: Giotto di Bondone, his teacher Cimabue, Sandro Botticelli, for a start ;) Thanks for that! 2 wrong. Great quiz.Cheers!!
This was great fun. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
not bad... hubby and I were only off by about 5 (give or take). lol being in our 70's, and our memories as they are, we think that's pretty good. being married to a trivia nut helps. lol. and I like to consider myself pretty smart too. Your quizzes helps us to "keep on our toes". Thanks!!!
49/50 correct. Leonardo da Vinci.
Not too difficult. 50/50
50/50 and a Renaissance artist is Raphael
Yet again a great quiz. It was fortunate for me that the questions fell into line with my general knowledge. Thank you.
Great job!
I got one right! Then again I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express.
I got 40 out of 50. Not the worst. I kept second guessing myself on a few of them.
50/50!
Too easy, 50/50.
49/50. Not bad for an old coffin dodger. Cheers
The Turtles...Raphael, Michaelangelo, Leonardo. 4 wrong.
DaVinci ...40/50
Amazingly, 48 of 50 correct!
Nice one
37/50. Don't think that's my best....but it's pretty good.
Only got 42/50 shame on me. I don't lie and take it how it is, but really enjoy the questions so please keep it up.
46/50 and Michelangelo renaissance artist. Another enjoyable quiz. Thanks for uploading. Nice one.
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it
Leonardo Da Vinci
44/50 Another winner, Ben. Thanks for doing all the hard work, so we can have fun. Super! Not sure but, Donatello? Have a great weekend!👍😁
45 correct.
48 right!😊
44/50
48/50 !!
Birth of Venus is one of my favorite paintings by Botticelli. Enjoyed very much. Thank you for making me smile.
My pleasure 😊
Not bad I got 39 out of 50
50/50
35/50.... I learned new things! Thank you.
my pleasure
I’ve got 28/50 I’ve got some right some wrong but I enjoyed doing the quiz hope for the next one I can do a bit better
Thank you Quizzes4U. 👍👍
88/100
49/50 with the options (just got confused with chemistry vs. physics); 47/50 without. I think it's my joint best score on one of your quizzes, as I don't believe I've ever had a full house but have definitely only dropped one before.
Let's go for Michelangelo for the Q21 bonus!
Wicked smart!! Nicely done!
@@itsnotme07 Yes, it was Michelangelo.
But physics was a more accurate answer to that question, and a neutron is not a fundamental particle really, but that's nitpicking.
47 over 50
40/50
46/50. Not bad.
This was fun and interesting 🥰👏🥰
Glad you enjoyed it
48/50!
4:44 Q17 is "What is the smallest unit of matter?" and 3 options are given - molecule, atom and electron. That NECESSARILY implies that all 3 are units of matter and we are asked to choose between them. Therefore of those 3 the smallest is the electron, not the atom.
7:21 Q27 is extremely badly worded. My PHYSICS textbook was entitled "Mechanics and the Properties of Matter".
Johnstone Burgh Day Centre over 50s 43/50
49/50. Apparently I need to have tiramisu again, since I forgot what it was!
48/50. I am a 67 year old Dutch woman
11 answers wrong... nice quiz :)
47/50 - loving these quizzes, and even more it helps keep my general knowledge in check.
Awesome 👍
48/50, but it must be the quiz being too easy because I've not done nearly this well on the others...
I got 4 wrong if you count the one of the atom ⚛️ as i answered electrons. But all the same it is by far my best score to date.😊 great quiz.
Yes, sorry that was a badly worded question. Great to hear it was your best score to date. 😁
Gonna nitpick here and highlight a little fun fact. After the annexation of Egypt into the Roman Empire, the Emperor took on the title of Roman Pharaohs when in Egypt. Cleopatra would have been the last of the Ptolemaic pharaohs
17\50 my best scour yett
Hey! An electron is smaller than an atom. Either way.. great quiz!
47 and Michaelangelo
45/50 I'd say not bad. I really enjoyed it🎉
Excellent!
47/50. Botticelli
Love that quiz. I got 36 and I’m pretty proud of that.

47/50, my best
46 so I'm pretty satisfied
45/50. Not bad, still glad I learned new things with each quiz. Thanks
That's great. 😀
44/50 and I sped through most. 53yo here. Made a couple of simple mistakes though but simple enough test.
Rembrandt
Someone of my age should find this pretty easy. Nothing is obscure or rare or hidden in trickery. So I had a rare example (for me) of getting them all with no stumbling. That said, this quiz was of your standard of being well done - ie, no vacuous rubbish. Thanks.👍
Well said!
46/50 today. Great quiz, Ben! ♥
Excellent!
48/50. Not bad from ?Africa. 😊💝🐘
Not bad, blooming excellent more like! You rock 🤩🎊👍
