That struck me as well, understanding the commentator is of a different nationality I expected differing pronunciation of certain words but the (mis)pronunciation of proper names continually threw me off.
The Pravda alternative translation Propaganda made me laugh. But the fact that it means Truth is even funnier, darker humor .

Great quizzes - really enjoy them. However, although your pronunciation is better than some online quiz-setters, I couldn't help cringeing at your rendering of 'Auguste Rodin'! Ouch! It's not 'Augusty Roddin', it's something like Owe-gust Row-dan. French.

Absolutely agree. The difference is that the Russian people -know- that they're subject to propaganda. Most people in the west believe all they hear in the news is true ... which it really isn't. So that makes those in the west either gullible, stupid, or disingenuous .
