GARDEN BAR MADE FROM PALLETS - LOCKDOWN DIY

- There's been a lot of similar ideas floating about during this lockdown period, so Liv and her family jumped on the bandwagon! It started as an idea we'd seen on a Facebook post and somehow we transformed it into a beautiful bar at the end of our garden. Built with 12 pallets, a few other resources and by some very hardworking men. I hope you enjoy this vlog of the transformation from the pallets to the finished product of "Stu's Bar", named after my Dad who we sadly lost in 2010 to keep his memory in our house alive, he would've loved it just as much as we do and been in his element.

Looks good, should of put a mini fridge or you can by beer pumps and kegs together for about £150 then fit it in.. would look cool that

really good i love it going to follow what you done but i like to put door and shutters on it when not in use
Do you have any plans available for how to do this? I did watch the video several times but still would like some kind of sketch of how to do this; i absolutely love this and it would be a fun summer project this year

You could have tried to mix the glitter in some PVA glue after you painted it, the glue would dry transparent and you might see the glitter.... Just an idea.

Brilliant stuff , if do anything like this again maybe get yourself one of those cheep crappy electric spray guns off Amazon there only about £30 ish and fire the paint on so fast you’d do the whole thing in a hour 👍

Thanks so much! We had 10 pallets, some of them were cut in half as 2 together were too wide for the space!

Let me start out by saying nice build but u talk way to much. There were so many times u were rambling on on a 25 min video which prob cud of been shortened. I didn’t see the bar top installation and you also move the camera very fast where I was trying to c how u did the roof and must view everything that was done at the end, plz slow down and again very nice build thx u

Where did you get them pallets from
go to any warehouse, farm or basically anywhere you think will use a lot of pallets. most of them will give you pallets for next to nothing. new ones can be near £200 if you didn't want used pallets

You started off paying Penny's then ended up having carpenters doing roofs and sides and buying gear from wickes and IKEA must of cost double what it should of is somebody sleeping all the time you are speaking very very quite
Thanks for your feedback, the aim was never to make it cheaply though! We wanted to make a nice, high quality bar. They weren't carpenters but actually my Uncle and mums Boyfriend, they just got paid with a beer when the bar was finished!
Been looking for the shelf’s can’t find them in ikea any idea if they have a name like most ikea things lol your bar is amazing am making a smaller version. Will raise a wee glass to Stu when it’s done 👌🏼
