  • We complete our Pacific Ocean Crossing from MEXICO to FRENCH POLYNESIA! We encounter mystery objects at sea, get drenched with a week of squalls, endure the doldrums, cross the equator, and end up in beautiful NUKU HIVA, MARQUESAS! So much has happened on this 24 day passage. The end of this passage marks a milestone that few accomplish. We have checked many items off of our bucket list on this passage. We are proud of all we have accomplished, and look forward to some R&R!

You guys nailed it with recognizing that your constant exercise because of the movement of the boat is the primary reason your are losing weight. I guess I "really" need to do a Pacific crossing.

Met you two in the boatyard in San Diego where we fixed the leak in your heel strap. Good to see you made the crossing safely :)

Thank You, Lord, for the safe travels of these two, joy of dolphins and the beauty of seeing land. Grow whatever beautiful treasures they gathered as a incredibly close couple for those 24-ish days, lol. Happy Father's Day!

Congrats on your crossing. I got a chuckle of your equator crossing. I was in the Navy and crossed the equator as a Pollywog in 1976. crossed several times after that as a Shellback. Also, became a Golden Shellback, when you cross the equator where it intersects the 180th meridian of longitude. Navy Captains will try to adjust the course of the ship if this specific spot is not too far out of reach from the normal course. Take care and good luck in the South Pacific.....

That was such a great episode about your final half of an amazinc passage.. I love your spirit both and Alica cant say enough good things about your great energy. I aways say one must be connected to something like writing an emotiobal.. song or painting or ocean passage.. i who have always wanted to do such a thing you exude joy and connection to the every aspect of it. I'd love to sail it with both of you and in a way i did so thank you very much😊

Well done fellows..Glad a bit of luck was with you. Talk of stoves and hot fluids. I hope you don't hold the container you are pouring into... Bacon fat disfigured a friends hand back in college cooking for 4 while pouring the hit fat into a can...Ruined our Sunday morning...

Grease burns are horrible. We usually let the pan and it’s contents cool down before we transfer anything. It’s great advise to be very careful.

Nice. I see the boat's up for sale. Just a bit early for me as I'm just starting to sell everything before heading off into the wild blue yonder, but it makes for an excellent template to base my new ride on which will be snapped up in early '24. I've also been to the end of Google and beyond, and I keep coming back to the 420.

Glad you made it safe!! Early on in the trip you said you had a buddy boat. What happened to it? You never mentioned it again in part two of the trip. And now where is your next stop? 🤗😘
