I’m in Sacramento and the SF Giants AAA team is here and Brandon Crawford was on a rehab assignment and the story was he covered a nice post game meal for the team every night, he was with the team for like a week.
Usually thats how it works. I worked for the White Sox for 3 years. And we had a couple people come down to do rehab stints and Pay for Meals, as well as Clubby Fees for the players.

Haven’t been around for someone’s rehab assignment but yes typically that is the move. Trust me, players appreciate it
