There is nothing "better or not better". It's compleely different. The Disney animation is based on the original book by J.M. Barrie (1902-1906). This film is a completely new written 'prequel fantasy' (not even a remake), loosely connected to hit-points from the original book.

I've been looking for this movie for quite some time and I was starting to think it was one of my childhood hallucinations 😅 the only part i remembered was Peter getting stabbed, when i told my cousin about it he didn't belive me, so we made a bet i couldn't find it in less than a year, guess who is gonna have to pay me an ice cream stock to last two months?

Peter getting stabbed is a very crucial part and you spoiled it for so many people who have never seen this movie before. The first time I saw this movie was on RUclips last year and I am glad your comment HERE never spoiled the movie for ME.

He figured out how to fly across the entire galaxy because he lost his shadow back on Earth... a truly Peter Pan ending.

It's a pity we never got a sequel to Neverland. To see this universe's take on the classic original Peter Pan story, Charlie Rowe was great in the role of Peter, and Rhys Ifans was equally as great as Hook.
