I love love love this song. When I hear this song, it brings peace and hope that Jesus really will come, and He is coming and is closer than we think. What a joyful day when the Savior comes again!
This hymn touches my heart. It’s a gift from God that came through you. I truly appreciate the story of the song, and to hear your incredible life story is so moving. I don’t know you, but I know that we are brothers in every sense. May the Lord bless and keep you until the second coming. It will be a joyful day!
When I listened through the first batch of the new hymns for the first time, this one jumped right to the top of my favorites. I instantly felt like the lyrics and message were inspired, as well as just so beautifully composed. As a new ward director, I also decided to use this as our first piece. In the next few weeks the lyrics worked deeply into our hearts and souls, and this song was truly joyful to sing. It lifted my heart and brought peace and joy every time the melody popped back into my head. I think it will be a very long-time favorite for so many of us. Thank you for sharing your talents, Brother Johnson!
This was wonderful! My six year old son and I love this hymn and have learned all the words. Two years ago, we had a son that passed away at 18 weeks into the pregnancy and are looking forward to seeing him again. Lane’s song is a beautiful reminder of that joyful day!
