I had a similar experience with the viper 23 tooth snap in axel using the slip on tires supplied with the drop in setup. It was counter intuitive that the car went slower than the 25 tooth axel setup. After looking closely I figured out the underside was touching the power rails occasionally. I ordered the largest set of S1 slip on tires available and the lap time improved as expected. Also the motor did not get as hot after each 20 lap set. Running 60' of 4 lane AFX track
Glad to know you, too, have had issues with the motors getting hot; on the forums, the guys tell me that none of the motors should be getting hot to touch (I had HO cars back in the 60's which were quite hot after an hour or so of racing).
Hi is the mega g plus with 42 magnets faster than a modified viper from viperscale racing ? Can you build me a superfast ( the fastest motor you can put in ) mega g plus with 42 magnets ? How much will it cost ? Im running a 2 lane Afx ho track. I need 4 of these cars with very light lexan painted bodyes that handle very very well. I am runnkng the alvino hard compound tyres with my vipers at 20 volts
Hi Eduardo! I would recommend you getting a VIPER Modified chassis if you want speed! About $70 for a chassis and $90 if you want a Lexan body on it. Mega G+ would not be able to keep up even with a faster motor and better magnets! You can buy directly from VIPER.

I'd like to see the test passes on the track.

17 minutes of a still picture.
Any advice on switching out the magnets? Just pop 'em out and pop the new ones in or special tool needed?
Hi, Thank You for watching! Press the magnets upward from the bottom and push the new ones in place! Happy Racing and God Bless!!
