About Who's The Boss?:
Being a parent is tough; being a single parent is even tougher. So when injuries and his wife's death force ex-baseball player Tony Micelli (Tony Danza) into retirement, and a single mom, high powered advertising executive Angela Bower (Judith Light), needed someone to run her household, it was a match made in heaven. Or was it? After convincing her free spirited, mischievous mother, Mona Robinson (Katherine Helmond), that hiring Tony is the right thing to do, the less-than-tidy Angela welcomes him and his daughter Samantha (Alyssa Milano) as the live-in housekeeper for her and her son Jonathan (Danny Pintauro). And while their relationship starts out businesslike and platonic, becoming best friends and confidants makes it hard for two attractive, single adults living under one roof to resist their more grown-up impulses.

In this case, getting fired was the best thing for Angela. It was what propelled her into starting her OWN successful company!
Judith did a fantastic job portraying Angela.
Angela (Judith light) was as beautiful as she was smart..she was a woman of the 80's what a time to be young and beautiful.
Damn, this scene resonates even today with corporate culture and people always worried about taking a vacation.
Judith Light is an amazing actress!
Blue really is her color. The chemistry of Judith and Tony made this show amazing. Unfortunately the end of the line was the same course as I Dream of Jeannie where the leads get together at the very end and the premise of the show doesn’t work the same way. Still if you go the way of the Wonder Years it’s worse...they go separate ways.
Angela looks fantastic in that blue dress!
This is what makes America great. One door closes, another one opens. She didn't know it obviously getting canned was a blessing in disguise.
I wish they would release all the seasons of Who's the Boss?.
Judith Light is just beautiful.
That blue dress is fabulous!
I really liked that dress on her and then her grear tan really set it off. Judith looked good in blue.
She looks adorable in the dress.
I might be aging myself, but I remember that episode...
It's hilarious that to this day people are upset Tony didn't give Angela the message so she lost her job!! 🤣🤣🤣
I remember this episode-first run in the fall of 86. Always loved Judith Light's delivery. "Congratulations Jim". So funny.
Memorable episode. Sitcoms can have some depth and this was certainly a moment with depth!
Tony: WOW!
I remember ths episode because I looked all over for the blue dress Angela is wearing
I had such a crush on Judith Light when I was younger
