Thanks, Lyneida! I really liked the change of perspective in this one! My accomplishment this month is I really was consistent (as you recommended!) and actually garnered a couple of sales from my recent listings. I also had this huge mindset shift where I became a buyer-oriented store instead of a “me me me” seller-oriented store. I take myself and my ego out of the equation and I know now that when I have an ideal customer in mind for my niche, I can actually make designs that resonate emotionally with that person. It’s freeing when you change that perspective and make the design about that person instead.
THAT IS AMAZING! Congrats! It really makes a difference and I am so happy to hear that change has helped you. I struggled with that in the beginning as well and so I love that you have already seen a difference when you changed your mindset to a buyer oriented store. Thank you Lyneida for another awesome video! Congratulations on all those big orders! The positive mindset is extremely important. I tend to always beat myself up for "not doing enough" or for not being as successful as others. Lately, though, I've been making an effort to become more aware of my thoughts and feelings and to change my perspective from lack, frustration and disappointment to gratitude and being proud of myself and what I've accomplished.
Last year in March I had 16 visits, 0 orders, 0% conversion rate and 0 revenue. This year my March looked so much more amazing: 340 visits, 8 orders, 2.4% conversion rate and $829.71 revenue. I am so happy and proud of myself and of how far I came and I'm embracing all the unexpected wonderful things that the Universe has in store for me!

My success is that in April I've already received more "favorites" than any other month in 2024. I use the data to double down! You are all GOLDEN, thank you for guiding us along this mountain we are all climbing (looking up "WOW" looking back "WOW")

Love this!! Gotta celebrate the little wins! My accomplishment for this month was getting my first group order of 6 shirts! 🎉 This is my third month of starting my Etsy shop and I’m slowly seeing the traction steadily increase! Thanks for the motivation!
Love your video, so inspiring!!!! I was somehow questioning why I do not have a lot of views and discovered I had some tags incorrectly entered and a few days ago I started to change those tags. Now I am seeing more views and favorites, so I am positive that even I’m going back to day 0 with all those changes, I will get more views, favorites and sales soon 🥰

Thank you for sharing your stats. Could you do a video that showed the correlation between how many listings you had and when business started to pick up?
Well the thing is that I don't think that would be the best way to gage why I started to pick up in business. See the thing is I had A LOT of listings, over 1,000 probably even close to 2,000 if not already there but they were terrible listings. Like in my first video I mentioned about just downloading graphics from creative Fabrica and putting them on mockups and making listings out of them. I know several shops that only have a few hundred listings and make way more money than my shop does. Even Sha and Mike are getting sales now WAY before I did with much less listings than I had! So I think it has more to do with the things I implemented last year that Shawna told us to do that made the difference in my shop! Hope this info helps. 😊

I started with $10 a day in sales - and once I reached 1000 sales I started incrementally increasing it to 40, 50, 55, I had it at 60 for a long time - now I'm at 70 a day advertising and I have over 3000 sales. Most days I am not charged the entire $70 - but every day I make at least $150 more than I would have without the sales - plus all my regular customers and organic sales. What I do is advertise the shirts that are already selling - so I know I'll have an even better conversion rate on those.

Does Etsy give priority to stores with higher ad budgets? My daily budget is currently set at 1.50, and yesterday I had 41 views, no clicks, no sales, and none of my ad budget was used. Does Etsy, like, not take me seriously because they know they can't make much money off my ads?
Hey there! It take time for Etsy to really start spending some of your ads budget! Hang in there! Higher ads budget leads to more views because eventually Etsy figures out how to spend the budget (which key words to show your listings for). If people interact positively to your listing with certain key phrases they will start putting you in more searches! You said you had 41 views? Give it some more time or if you only have a couple of your listings on ads try adding some more. It's Etsy's job to give us the views but it's ours to figure out how to get them to click in. Get some clicks and they will push it out more! I hope that makes sense!
How long did it take to see the progress from using ads? I’ve been running ads for about a month and am getting clicks but no sales.
Yes, it did take me a bit because I didn't have a lot of money into it but I started to notice more clicks within a week or so and maybe about a month later I probably started to notice an increase. It was also around the same time that we started our Etsy nights and I made the changes that Shawna told me to so it was several things together honestly. Hope this helps! 😊
Just started a shop about a week ago. How long does it usually take before you start seeing sales?
Hi there! Thank you for joining us!! It all depends on your consistency and what strategies you are implementing. We have seen some people make sales with just about 100 something listings. And for me it took me a lot longer because I wasn't consistent and my listings were terrible. Mike got his first sale with I believe less than a 100 listings. So it all depends really. 😊

My quick question to you is if you’re a new seller without many sales, how do you know what listings to put ads on? I don’t know if you’ll know the answer to that but I am struggling with it because I have lots of listings thank you and God bless.❤
Thank you so much. Well I think it depends on what listings and niches you are in. Since we are at the end of the school year I would school or teacher listings on ads. We also have mothers day coming up and fathers day so if you have any listings that are geared towards mothers and fathers then I would put those on ads. When we get close to the holidays (I would say even July because Shawna and I even had some holiday sales during the summer) I would put those on ads. So it all depends on the time of year and what niches you are in that might correspond to which listings should be on ads. Hope this helps! 😊
