@camthepenguin I know, I'm just pointing out that the difference isn't that high compared to today's standard, so ds3 was advanced compared to other games

Comparing it to games like rdr2 or avatar frontiers of pandora it’s a 3/10.

Story/Lore - 7/10 not very impressive. Imo DS1 had a better story, DS3 feels like a rehash of DS1's story
Gameplay - 10/10 easily
Graphics - 8.5/10, it looks great
Skipping Art Design and Music because I admittedly don't even care about those, but imo music is generic epic songs so I wouldn't give it very high points
Difficulty Balance I agree with you, 8/10. Same for innovation
Bosses people will hate me for this, but they are like 8/10 at best. Most bosses are like C tier with a few standouts. But even bosses that are typically loved like Dancer or Pontiff, they are way too basic to be truly called "good" nevermind "amazing". They fall short when compared to other game's bosses
Replayability - Probably like a 7/10 or so, refer to the previous point
Overall: 8.5/10, maybe 9/10 but that's really pushing it

No, relpayability sucks, probably the worst in the souls series. Like why couldnt i buy my chunks in ng+ without having to get the ashes again? Tbh its soo annoying
Nah elden ring is worse because of the full discovered map and items that are already looted
And if you play it right you should have plenty oft titanite of all kind after 1-1,5 playthroughs
Seems to me you got too used to Elden ring. Why would you keep anything from your old run when starting a new one when you reset the whole world. I get that with Elden ring it's kind of a needed addition since getting to all the places is tedious, but in dark souls 3 it's quite easier. This is the game that I replayed the most and I still want to play more because the bosses are just that good

Imo, gameplay was a 7, it has the worst areas out of every souls game and the design should also be at highest a 9 and honestly an 8 because of how dull the colors are and the style of architecture can be a bit overused + ariandel was a mess
