Wridz sounds like a breath of fresh air! I don't know how many customers have asked if they can request me personally! customer service is what we do, I'm looking forward to signing up and seeing the company grow and compete!
You could get rich on this app. Figure each order on Uber is paying 20-40 bucks per ride. If we got the whole fare, we could bank out. We wouldn't even need bonuses. Is this available in CA? I hope this blows up and puts Uber out of business! This sounds like a gold mine. I just signed up. Also is it a full panel drug test? Weed is legal in CA. Do you honor the decision of our state?

Lyft 70/30% it’s just bullshit. They show different numbers when you complete the ride which is way lower than 70% and then they change numbers to make it look close to 70% or more so the compensate you nothing. I have pic to prove that. That’s embarrassing. Shame on Lyft
The new rideshare subscription service sounds better.... Uber and Lyft are screwed. Better ideas are coming
Dreaming about Wridz in California.
That sounds like from Steve the old method of Onboarding that the Rideshare Co used to use. It's good to see Wridz bringing that back. Much more personalized service. Less Robotic.
Less robotic, less stinky cars, drug tested drivers, cheaper fares, but better driver pay, and drivers that can communicate with you in English. Legions of passengers will appreciate all of that, and word will start spreading fast.

Tell Chris the median number in NJ is low because they have a rate card...69/mile....18/min....its the most densly populated state with loads of traffic
Uber hates NJ they had to pay back unemployment insurance paid to drivers over the pandemic.
I love how Steve took advantage of U and L having a stink fit to get some great press for Wridz. Master timing.
Should do an experiment where 3 people take rides from the 3 platforms with the pick up and drop off being the same and all rides being requested at the same time. Once the ride is done compare all the prices and deductions from each company.

What criteria and priority of criteria will be used to match riders with drivers? Will Wridz only consider proximity to pick up address or will there be other considerations? I'd hate to see an Uber style tier system where AR% is considered as much as proximity is to match for trips.
They're is no AR or CR restrictions or punishment since most trips pay well
Has Sreve done any driving on the Wridz platform? If so, has he made any improvements or adjustments to the driver app based on his experiences?
Yeah he has
And he listens to us drivers! I was the fifth driver to onboard and when they interviewed me, I told them everything I did not like about the Uber and Lyft apps and they made changes immediately

Lyft charged customer $70 but I only got $24. Absurd
I'm 4 weeks into this gig - thrust into it by life. I learn as I burn. $20 for washes is a no go, so I knock off the big chunks. Wipes, a very nice room spray & a lint roller keep the interior pleasant. A pic of my set up would be good for a chuckle, no doubt, but I've had only compliments so far.
in the areas that wridz competes with uber/lyft....how long before uber/lyft puts out something about how much they apprecite their drivers....only to try to curb their drivers from recriting pasangers to wridz....
That won't work. They'd have to start throwing a lot of money at drivers, which they can't afford to do. Eventually, after wridz gets huge, lyft and Uber will mostly only have the drivers left that can't speak English or English speaking drivers that can't pass a drug test...

Is pre-tip option market specific? I'm in Cleveland and use Lyft to the airport quite a bit and there's nowhere in the trip request part of the app that gives an option for a pre-ride tip.

where does the subscription amount show up? That’s my question. It’s free for 30 days. How much is it after 30 days? How much will each ride cost the driver to do business this subscription right will it go up? Will it go down? It looks good right now we’ll see in 30 days, how much will you be paying? Who knows?

How will Wridz handle customer complaints as they relate to the driver? If their default position is to accept the customer claim as the truth and not consider the overall performance history of the driver then I wouldn't want anything to do with Wridz.
Very different with Wridz

How is the PERK option being communicated to the passengers? Is it clear in the app or will it be left up to an awkward conversation between the driver and pax?
Why does it have to be awkward? When I convert my Uber and Lyft drivers to Wridz, I explained to them what the perk is. It’s not that difficult
@@josephinemiller4780 it doesn't have to be but we all know how some pax react when they don't hear what they wanna hear. That's the potentially awkward part.

@@josephinemiller4780 passenger asks to make a stop then I say I really can't because of...makes up a reason. That's about to be an awkward situation not to mention a petty bad rating incoming because....they didn't hear what they wanted to hear. So now I'm left with a conversation with the pax about how the business of rideshare is such that with what the wait time rates are it makes zero sense for me to make a stop for you and wait. If I'm gonna have this kind of conversation with a pax where it seems like I'm soliciting a tip for whatever request they might be making I wanna know that it's being communicated in the app very clearly to them thus avoiding a potential awkward and/or dangerous situation.

I just signed up for Wridz. But the CEO is not spending money on publicity. A lot of my riders and even people that I book sometimes when I want a rideshare are not aware yet in Minnesota.
Give it time! Rome wasn’t built in a day and the drivers in Minneapolis are getting rides the same day they are being onboarded!
hang in there! word of mouth will spread quickly and continue with uber/lyft and ADVERTISE in your car that there is another company out there. It will happen.
I'm in Minnesota, I have been passing out the cards to every passenger I get from. Uber and tell them Wridz is better for you, and I because I get 100% of the fare. People like that we get everything.
I can’t wait till I get on board I’m from California and I’m the top of all the drivers for Lyft and Uber but I’ll love to experience this one. I think this is way much better than Uber and Lyft.

I’m new to Uber, how can I see the riders destination before I accept the trip? It’s a surprise after I accept and I’m going to Houston (hour and half away)
Wridz needs to have a fee for part-time drivers such as myself. Maybe have a $50 fee for 1-50 rides or something similar. I can't justify the cost based on 3-5 days of driving per month.
I wonder on how long before the new competition starts getting greedy like Uber and Lyft
I personally know the owners. This isn’t about greed. They started their rideshare business because they heard us drivers complain about how much Uber and Lyft were taking from us. They know about the unfair deactivations. They know Uber and Lyft are greedy. They created their platform to make it fair for drivers and riders alike. Why are you so negative? There are decent people out there!
Lyft charged rider $42 and I got only $15 gross.

Maybe in some markets drivers don't get $1.30 per mile but that's average trash you get in Chicago. Wridz has to offer $2 a mile to get drivers to sign up.

become totally independent, stop depending on apps someday everyone will be independent and working for themselves and getting away from the middleman someday will come. It will be called App ride. Better drivers better riders app ride.

So, what happens to those who are on prescription drugs like Adderall? Or those who are on opiates for chronic pain? Or benzos for anxiety? Do. you need a doctor's note or what? I would imagine a lot of rideshare drivers are taking Adderall due to having ADHD. And rideshare drivers likely disproportionately have ADHD since a lot of ADHDers have trouble holding down a W2 job. ADHDers also disproportionately suffer from anxiety too.

Uber and lyft drivers have been starved and lied to and ripped off daily .. drivers are waiting for wrydz..would be nice to go home after 8 hours instead of 16 hr days just to buy food or rent . Im a rental program. I made 200.00 last week after 60 hours.. . Lyft hertz made 1000...am i driving for free?
No people do not want you interacting with them especially with all your broken languages and your foreign country cultural stories that are irrelevant to them while they're trying to interact on their phone and conduct their business because they're busy and or talking to their loved ones and do not want to talk to you
Yes, that's many of the English speaking passengers, but many would like you to communicate with them, which is why they sometimes start asking you questions. Many drivers have zero communication skills and sit there like a bump on a log with no personality. Probably the wrong profession for that dude. He should be doing something where you don't have to interact with people all day. Same for those that won't learn English, even with all of the free apps out there like Duo Lingo on their free Obama phones.
You can clean a restaurant floor but the car when someone throws little or a lot . It’s hard to get rid of vomit smell . I don’t agree with Steve on that subject .
I could care less if Wridz is or isn’t doing things for drivers we all like. If they are paying above the poverty level of “other companies “ I’m in. As soon as it’s in Denver the better 😎.

Oh my goodness I had only one ride today. Took me seven hours to do. Got pd 232 dollars. Uber charged the rider 341 dollars. I am exhausted.

It's hospice work I'm starting this business because I just really feel for you drivers and even though Uber is a competition and I'm trying to start a business that's equivalent to Uber, in no way should you consider me a business like uber, you should consider me more like a grandparent that's you know feeding you ice cream or something when you were young I'm just just I just want you all to know 🤗🤗🤗

Drug test and meeting in person sounds a bit much specially if I’m having to pay monthly and is it a one time drug test that’s kinda pointless

Why is it a bit much when Uber allows anyone to drive? I don’t want to be in a car with someone who’s on meth! You obviously have no idea how many times Wridz has turned a driver down because they couldn’t pass the drug test because they were on meth. The in person interview is to explain everything on how to use the app, give you the placard, which you need, drug test (required) and to answer any questions you have because there are always questions!
If you don’t like how they run their business, then you don’t have to drive for them.
Can’t wait to work with this amazing rideshare company here in Kentucky. Been driving for Uber and Lyft for 2 years now but we get used for granted ! We get paid 30% to 40% i swear God😭. These companies Uber and Lyft are always charging customers (riders) too much but pay their drivers like shit 🤮🦠🤢😭
