    Gentlemen, I can't thank you both enough for putting these webinars together and offering them for FREE on here (many people out there charge lots of money for way less content) This is truly amazing and that is an understatement. Books are great to learn from, but seeing all these examples and going through basically a trader's journey step by step is invaluable. I'm confident I will be a stage 3 trader much much sooner because of this invaluable information y'all continue to offer. I hope someday I will be able to thank you both in person.

    Just wanted to say thank you. Will def watch these vids a few times. The pieces are starting to fall into place. Refining my edge & system.
    Entries are like jumping on a moving roller coaster- if I can plan & nail the best low risk entry, I can reduce draw down. Exits seem easier somehow- I’ve got a good feel for that.
    Watching these videos gives me a sense of direction. Can’t thank you enough.

    I really like the "expectation breaker" concept. I've been bogged down trying to figure out the why of it rather than just recognizing it for what it is and using it as a technique. That one concept alone was worth the time for me.

    Rai's High Volume Set up is interesting indeed! .. Do you think it goes well with your strategy richard? VCP set ups + High volume set ups-- With these two strategies during bullish market gives you a lot of opportunities to enter uptrending stocks after you filter them by the 20 > 50 > 150 EMA..
    I used to get frustrated when i see a VCP or cup with handle set up but the breakout from the pivot is a High Volume breakout which tends to go way higher than the pivot line and then i don't know anymore how to trade that strong stock because it left me already. Knowing the HV strategy of Rai complements this type of scenarios i think.
    See an uptrending stock? > Forming a VCP? > Buy on breakout > Stock gapped up with high volume and left you? > Use Rai's High Volume Strategy and still enter the stock.

    So I agree no one cares about these little stops and no one is out to get you as far as market makers hunting for stops.
    But to completely ignore the fact that market makers DO swing low or swing high to
    Collect liquidity before making a big move is not smart. Many swing traders call this a shake out. Yes no one persons stops will move price. But if your stop is set where a mass of liquidity is sitting it become more likely the market makers will swing there to collect that liquidity before moving in the intended direction. I think this aspect could have been explained better. I LOVE THE SERIE GUYS. keep up the good work

    Thank you Richard and Rai. Your webinars are goldmines of knowledge. I have couple of queries -
    1. What is the minimum base consolidation duration you guys are looking at specially for base 2 and base 3 , after stock has already broken out of initial base and we have missed it. I often struggle to re enter the stock once I have missed it from initial breakout or have booked profits.
    2. Do you define any price range from the intial breakout point to define your buying range and to stay out if stock has already crossed that range ?
    Please launch in India soon. Please review price of trading view and MSIndia to price in India and make it easier for us to switch :)☺

    Quick question : Once volume is above the average day volume, is it right to place the entry for the next day because we don't know the volume unless it has formed that large volume bar.
    2nd question: once we have identified the entry point, is it necessarily to explore intraday chart for execution?

    • @TraderLion
      @TraderLion  11 месяцев назад

      Price > Volume. You can use volume run rate to determine if the day will have good volume

      To train your eyes for price tightness you can use indicators such as bollinger bands, ATR/ADR, or keltner channels. Look for pullbacks that get smaller (tighter) from high to low in the move over a few days/weeks.

    Okay gents, here's something I hope is, or will be, addressed in a future video. How do you overcome all the stop-loss nicks you take? This year I'm basically just above break-even because the trades that have worked out have barely gone far enough to erase my losses before getting stopped out. I feel like I'm right there, but just struggling to turn the corner. I do post-analysis and it seems like I'm getting good entries on good stocks, but one or more something's is still not right. What were some of the things you all did that helped you turn the corner to finally become consistently profitable?

    • @TraderLion
      @TraderLion  Год назад +3

      Hi Das, we just live streamed the stop loss one today. It may address this but to specifically address the issue you are running into I would focus on 3 things.
      Automatically lock in some profits at a set % gain.
      Scale back size when you are being stopped out a lot and scale back up quickly when it's a new cycle and trades are working.
      Trade less, especially when seeing a lot of stops.
      These are "simple" but not easy. But I hope this is helpful.
      Best,
      Richard

    • @dasfahrer8187
      @dasfahrer8187 Год назад

      @@TraderLion I definitely do the first one, but that also cuts into erasing the losses as there's less capital in the trade now should it go up. If the money is still there, I'll put it back to work should the chart set up again, but oftentimes I'll find another stock to put it in before that happens and then that stock gets stopped out a few times before it finally goes (if it goes). So, I end out just spinning my wheels in the mud, so to speak.
      I'll have to work on 2 and 3. I also tend to try to get in as early as possible rather than waiting on the pivot break or other trigger, so I know that one has given me a bunch of nicks. I think some of that is fueled by FOMO, so maybe I need to work on being more patient as well as working on my tape reading skills.

    • @thefinancedisciple
      @thefinancedisciple Год назад

      I always scale my size according to how well my trades go. Right now I’m actually risking less than a half of percent of my total account. As well as selling a third of my position when my gain is equal to my stoploss. That way i feel more comfortable letting my winners run. Hope this helps!
