    Dr Ess says No oils BUT the BUDWIGS program calls for flaxseed oil and flax seeds and has a high rank for curing diseases like CANCER... Is there anything anyone can say about this good or bad yes or no right or wrong.

    Thank you for (Part 2) with this inspirational physician, Dr. Alan Desmond. His talk brings the plant based diet to another level of health. The gut bacteria's effect on physical health is amazing. I don't feel most physicians have any training in this area! Another great interview from the PLANTSTRONG podcast. Thank you Rip!

    I've been listening to Jonathon Otto and Dr Kahn (Health Secret) who speak about heavy metals and parasites. They say how important it is to flush the gut and colon cleanse with their herbal treatment. I follow a Plantstrong diet and focus on high fiber but still wonder if this gut flush is necessary?

      Depending on what is wrong, you may need medical intervention. Check out gojiman's channel.

      It took a while for me to iron things out. The more green leafies you eat, the faster it will get better and more weight you will release. The more other veggies you eat, the more your health will improve and weight you will release. The more other plants you eat (fruits, whole grains, and legumes), the faster all your health issues will improve. Make sure to drink plenty of water when you up your fiber. But...if it took 30-40 years to get into bad shape, it might take more than a few minutes to get well. Be patient. When your gut isn't holding onto so much gunky toxic poop, your happiness quotient will increase. This helps as the other health issues resolve. You will be amazed if you give it a few weeks.

    Question. "Diversity of plants in your diet", does this infer that we should have a variety of plants, or can one achieve the same benefits as people who ingest the same "plants" repetitively? Personally, I have a very narrow list of plants I enjoy.

    Is it possible to reverse damage to liver from NASH by eating plant based? I am having difficulty finding information from plant based physicians so I’m hoping with Dr. Desmond being a Gastro MD, he can assist me.
