You 2 do the best fishing vids I've ever watched and are a true inspiration to the young and older like me fantastic as always and always make me laugh See u when ur cruising along Tom shouting ""snagged bro"" hha nice 1 guys Thank you
haven't laughed that much in a long time. I had the fireline but I had the feeling that it wasn't really round but rather flat, so I changed it. But you definitely got me excited for a new line!!!
@@SnaggedBro I'm slowly getting through them all... it's a pleasure. Don't forget to check my channel out... it's new, so not much on it yet but I'll get there 💪.
I like the new editing stuff your doing atm some cool effects guys. I noticed at the lake Sean had his multiplier & Tom had a fixed spool, is there any reason for that & which is the best all rounder? Does one cast further than the other to get to those far off hot spots? I know that a fixed spool holds more line & it's a two second job to change spools if you have multiple spare spools for normal mono (so you could use the same reel for normal course fising too) or different breaking strain braid ect. I have never used a multiplier though they look great as i think that a fixed spool gives me many more options but it would be good to hear what you think. All the best.
Thanks dude! As for the reels it's just preference. Tom wanted to try out the Ike spinning rod that day so that's what he did. We usually like Baitcasters for our lure fishing. But spinning reels for the light stuff
Boys, I need some help. Canal fishing for predators. I can't catch a bloody thing. Rivers, I do alright. I use the right lures for canals bit I just can't catch. Please could you let me know, not the exact location, just the area, a good canal for pike in the Midlands? Cheers.
We're always looking for new spots mate n the only way we find them is to keep going to different spots and testing the waters there. Bridges n features etc. It can be very discouraging when you can't seem to find them but they are out there somewhere! Failing that apps like fishbrain or angling iq can give spots sometimes 🤷🏼♂️ honestly if a canal looks 'pikey' then we give it a go 👌🏼👊🏼 good luck pal! N keep casting!!
I rate Berkley braids. Run X5 on all my rigs. 6lb for Perch and 35lb for Big Bad Barry. I usually run Green but would be interested to get your take on the different colours, what gives? Butter my bottom and call me a biscuit but when I'm feeling sassy I'd like to run lipstick red.
Got my canal pb the other day 16lb on the scale big common on floating bread couldnt belive it took it and i still cant belive i got it in a 7 ounce barble feeder fod with 6 pound guru pulse line i seen a mirror carp thats got to be over 20lb but dont think ill ever see um again
@@SnaggedBro sound bro you should come down an give my canal ago only about half hour away from brum junction 3 m6 coventry canal theres decent pike and zander and big perch suppossingly it is a ticketed strech but ive never been told off or had anyone ask be nice to see some fish come out on video
Absolutely love your videos guys, as an avid bass angler back in the states when I first came to the uk I was lost pike fishing. It can be a lot slower but I’ve grown to love pike fishing through you guys. Also just curious do you know what Ike as in (Ike rod) stands for?
Not sure what it stands for but it's a range of rods by abu garcia I think, the rods were designed for European Market by Mike "Ike" Iaconelli .. he was a bass champion or somat, the rods will cover all freshwater type of lure fishing. That's info I got on it anyway 👍 think "ike" is just his name
@@leafysfishing absolutely man, I was just curious to see if they knew who Mike Iaconelli was, big fan of him. I actually know I a guide here in London that did a pike fishing episode with mike for a short tv series
Leafys lures is bang on! It's a series of rods from Mike Iaconelli. The Ike rods have been our favourite rods so far 👌🏼 the design is 🔥. Pike fishing can defo be a lot slower! But also very rewarding as I'm sure you now know :) Good luck with the fishing bud!
SIIIICKKKK . I was gonna try the berkley x9 braid after seeing good reviews on it . You guys reckon this one is a upgrade on the x9 and even better ? Can't even tie a fg knot without this shimano shit snapping and it's like 50lb
