I don't believe in god nor am I religious in any way, but I will never look down on someone who does. Whatever gets you through life, more power to you. You can't prove each other wrong so I see arguing about religion a huge waste of time, but I will always respect someone else's way of life as long as they're not converters. Lindsey Stirling is an amazing musician and dancer and I love how far she's come and the amazing music she's made. Religious or not you can still apply the meaning to your own life. I played your choices for about 60 elementary school girls as part of three STEM "Building a House of Code" showing tenacity from the last minute of the AGT video, told them about your recent tour (I saw it in Mountain View, CA), your tenacity, and finally to the entirety of I Wonder as I Wander. All that in about 7 minutes about not letting other people define what they're capable of because choices and dedication to their passions are what make all the difference between existing and participating in their life with joy. They hadn't all heard of your work before, but they have now. Thank you for bringing my music back to me. God Bless You!

This cover absolutely blew me away. Everything about it is a masterpiece. The headset, the costumes, the setting, the meaning behind the song. I love how much work you put into making your music and the personal stories behind the songs. It just makes hearing your music that much more rewarding and meaningful.
I am struggling to find the light right now. My mother recently passed away from cancer and I feel like I’ve been stuck in the darkness ever since. But this song gives me hope that I will one day find the light again.

I thought it sounded familiar. I grew up listening to Celtic and Celtic rock music (as well as other things, but, if it wasn't classic rock, it was Celtic folk, Celtic rock, or classical). It's a truly lovely cover, and I did catch the contrast of light and dark. It's awesome getting to hear how much thought went into the locations, the costumes, and the music! You are a truly amazing individual, Ms. Stirling, and it shows in every piece you perform!

Lindsey, I have to admit I was worried that you lost yourself in the last few years - in the death, in the pain, and in the rising fame and the culture of Hollywood and shows like Dancing with the Stars. I'm so, so, glad that you haven't gotten lost, but been found, in an even deeper way, and your art reflects your soul. You're a daughter of the most high King, and I know He adores you in a deeper way than any fan, any friend or even earthly parent. I'm so glad you have an identity deeper and richer and more rooted than as an artist, a violinist, a performer, even a role model. You have a Father who loves you,. I continue to be amazed by this woman, this artist. She puts so much power,courage and plain hard work into her videos and performances. There is no doubt that her art is her own. This reminds me of the courage she showed in her Dragon Age video where she is performing on some very cold cliffs in Norway and the incredible determination she showed on DWTS last year where after suffering a torn rib she finished the season all the way to the final AND started touring for her first Christmas tour. I am always thrilled to hear Lindsey share her faith in Christ. I value the sacrifice that God provided for our redemption and I value being identified as a child of God. I am certain that Lindsey would want you to share her truth, but resolved to be at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18).

Ever since I first heard your music I fell in love. And I love that you're not afraid to talk about what you believe in! That's what it's all about! If we don't share the love of Christ that He showed us, then we are just being selfish and not fulfilling the great commission! Amen there was someone that because of love, died for us on the cross and "He is coming" I am in the process of recording my first song and in that song I will tell my experience I had with Jesus I just pray that Jesus leads me to the right producer.
Lindsey, I love you and I love your music. But please don’t say that people who do not have a God don’t have light in their lives or are lost, that is just utterly false. I respect and appreciate that your religion makes you happy and a wonderful person and please keep being you! But understand that there are millions of people who are Atheist who are very happy and are not dark or lost and are free and are moral and are positive. I like the representation of the light and the dark inside of us, that is very much true. But it has nothing to do with religion. I respect your opinion though, doubt you’ll ever read this.
But she didn't say that. She explains her beliefs, then at 1:41 acknowledges that it's up to each of us to find our true self in our own way, whatever that may be. And this is what makes Lindsey the wonderful person that she is. She is open about her beliefs but allows others theirs. I'm also a non-believer, but I never let that take away from those who see and use their faith as Lindsey does. I agree with you about the representation of light and dark (and many shades of grey) within each of us. Positivity ftw!

She doesn’t mean any wrong. She’s a beautiful and kind person, but I am just saying because I want to discredit the misconception that Atheists don’t have morals and are hurt or lost without a God.
