My friends really don't understand how much I love Lindsey stirling and her music... Everybody has a favourite artist that is their hero(s) and that they just love, Lindsey Stirling is mine! If you see this Lindsey I love you and please do a show in Scotland someday because I would do anything to see you live!
Just gotta say Lindsey, I played violin for about 4 years and my teacher thinks that I am at a very advanced level because I take after you, you are my role model. Thanks Lindsey! When I leave highschool, I want to play just like you. Thanks so much!
This song and the music video... There aren't enough words to explain how amazing they are. Probably my favorite video, not only of yours, but on all of RUclips. And the song... It's just invigorating. Inspiring and motivating, and literally it charges me up, prepares me for whatever the day has in store. I love it. :) Lzzy did some amazing work in both the song and video, and you, Lindsey m'dear, you were incredible. Simply stunning! These BTS videos just show how much work you put into each and every one of these videos, and it blows me away every single time. Thank you for what you do, you are one of a kind!
I consider Shatter Me the best of Lindsey's songs. And from the bridge and onward it just gives me good shivers. This is just amazing, is more than a real succes, is like the best song of the year till now
WOW! I guess the truth of the matter is that Piers did you the worlds biggest favor by kicking you off the show. AND, look at how many other artists you have given a stage. Thank you for the great music.
Aww it looked really painful when they pulled off that makeup on you :/ It was so cool to see how you made this music video, because it's so amazing! I absolutely love those ballerina dance moves you had! ^^ Seeing you with that ballerina costume almost makes me shed a tear, because the story is just soo beautiful :)
I'm a pointe dancer and I love violin. And I had a period in my life where something like that happened. And I choreographed a pointe and Aerial silk combo routine too it. I absolutely love your music and your videos.
Just saw ***** in concert last night at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland Oregon! This song was EPIC live! Seeing her live made me just that much for of a Lindsey fan! Thanks for a great show Lindsey!
I just found out about Lzzy and Halestorm from your first behind the scenes and since then I've been to a concert and got both albums! Thanks Lindsey for introducing me to a new band I really enjoy! See you on tour in October! ;)
This absolutely helped start the shattering of my walled-up self. I've learned that you're never done with the process, but it takes that little bit of inspiration to help it begin. I get goosebumps whenever I listen to this song because of the positive path that I started on 2+ years ago because of this song. Thank you soooooo much Lindsey for writing this song. I am forever grateful to you for helping me crack the snow globe I had created around me, as I know how strong you've become when you battled your own demons.
LINDSEY you rock! I love Shatter Me, it is one of my favorites. Stay the way you are. Don't let anyone tell you how to act. You're already perfect the way you are.🙂
all the details, all the scenes, makeup, music, scenery etc. are things that I like in a musical success, did a great job with everything, and I would love to someday work in that kind of work, very spontaneous, and working as a team, the video is viral!
OUTSTANDING show in Seattle last night! Unforgettable experience. Seeing Shatter Me live was amazing, and your riffing on Lady Gaga's costume change was hilarious and adorable. I don't know if the stagehand stuffing the top over your head while you were trying to talk was planned or not, but if not: keep it! It totally sold the moment.
Wow Lindsey you are so committed! I've actually learned a lot from your behind the scenes videos and it helps me when I'm working on my own. You're my inspiration!!
Ive probaby watched that video more than a hundred times or more.... probably more. But lately its taken so much new meaning to me, beyond what it was written for... Thank you soo very much.
I've always been in awe over your music videos but this just made my previous opinion of how inspirational you are even stronger. The last thing you said about breaking free but being scared that there will be nothing left really touched my heart because I've been having that feeling quite often lately... Thank you Lindsey!
I love the story so much! and the visuals! the behind the scenes art show is amazing!!!! LOL! this song and story of the ballerina is just so amazing. Your an inspiration;) i can't belive how creative you are! God has definately given you amazing gifts
I just recently started binge watching your youtube channel and all your videos. I am not a person that binges any star... i rarely like more then two songs of theirs. You are not just a musician and an artist, you are a glorious light walker that has been given an talent to show the world the beauty of the universe. Thank you so much for the inspiration, and your glorious light hun. Shine on babe! P.S. WHEN YOU GONNA TOUR IN CANADA???? I'm in Toronto and casually awaiting your arrival :)
Love all the different things that you go out and do, especially since they all seem, for the most part, to actually mean something dear to yourself and it shows in just about every performance and video you do. Keep it going and keep putting music like this out and you will have gained another long term fan.
6:14 Lindsey: OOOWWW!!! OOOWW!!!! I'M MELTING!!! Me: (._.) Is that for real, or is she faking it? Later... Lindsey: Ow! Ow! Oow!!! (Rapidly wears a casual face) Me: Yep, she's faking it.
This song is my inspiration, you Lindsey Stirling, are my inspiration. I play violin too and I only wish I can one day be as good as you or maybe half haha. But seriously this song helps me when I honestly am feeling hopeless. Thank you for being so amazing love you^^
Shatter Me is my favorite song of yours, just because of the pure energy and passion that's in it. I loved the video, and I remember you talking about the story behind it at the LA temple, and that really showed through in the video. It was really fun to see how it all came together, I wish I could do stuff like that :)
Thank you So very very much this song has been on repeat for the last couple days and i finally got to watch the behind the scenes. You are AMAZING WONDERFUL and you speak to my heart. I know I am late at discovering your awesomeness but better late then never right!!
Lindsey, I absolutely ADORE you and your music (I have always loved the sound of the violin) and your music videos. This music video, in particular, is especially emotional. My 2 sons love your music, and recently my 11 year old was hospitalized for an eating disorder....(I had tickets to see you last month in Toronto, but even though everyone told me to enjoy 1 night to myself, I really felt it was important to be by my son's side). Anyhow, my son knows you struggled with an eating disorder and so I think that is another reason why he loves you...anyhow, while we were in the hospital, we watched your videos, and during this one, towards the end of this video, he was crying uncontrollably. He really, really felt the message, felt the struggle, felt the fight in this video....I am curious, was this song written about your struggle with your eating disorder?? Either way, this is a powerful song & video, and it has a beautiful message. I hope you come back to Canada soon so I can see you in concert!!!!!
The song was written about her anorexia-she explained it in a post on Instagram, her account is @lindseystirling. The post is of the album cover for Shatter Me.
Got to be honest, definitely the most amazing piece of music I have ever heard. Every single time I hear it I break out in goose bumps. Your emotion and passion are so clear, and I think Lzzy was such a great choice for the vocals. Amazing work, Lindsey, and can't wait to so you when you're in Atlanta!
Love the song and the video. I wish I can go to your concert in Chicago,IL. But I do not think I will be able to go. I am disabled and do not have any way to get there or any money for the ticket. I found your music early this year and I can't get enough of your videos. Or the music. So much work is done to make a video that's only 4 or 5 minutes long. Love the behind the scenes videos. Love you and I hope I can see your show. And thank you for the great music.
Love it Lindsey! I was lucky enough to see your first show of your tour in San Diego. You really pulled off the technical difficulties very well. What an amazing performance! Wishing you luck on the rest of your tour. Thanks to your newest Album Shatter Me, I might wear out my CD player in my car. Nice name by the way too.
Lindsey is so talented that she inspired a 8 year old kid to go out alone in San Francisco alone just to see her and i helped him get in when he told me how far he came to see Lindsey Live. Keep up the good work
For a song artist, she has such a wealth of imagination! That's like amazing! She mentioned before how that she imagined "this image" in Stars Align, "image" in Shatter Me, "image" on everything! :D
LindseyTime ***** First off, thank you so much for putting on an amazing show on Saturday night in San Francisco! :D Its always a treat seeing you on tour! My brother, his girlfriend and I had an awesome time! Please come back to S.F. on future tours! :) Second, thank you for uploading this! Its always wonderful to see the passion and creativity that goes into making these music videos! :) Lastly, will you be making any LindseyTime tour videos? I loved seeing the off-the-cuff activities you did with your tour family on your previous tours (i.e. Whitney's birthday party, the Easter Egg Hunt etc.). Please make some more of these videos if you have time! :)
The song describes me in so many ways. Thanks for all your hard work that you have been giving us. Hope you get blessings now more than ever and that new songs will flow from your heart into the world!
Lindsey, every time I watch one of your videos I'm amazed when you say you put it together SUPER quickly. One week to shoot this one? Awesome! It's really inspiring because as a filmmaker I'm constantly making films last-minute (the video I gave you in San Francisco was shot in a day), somehow I work better under that time crunch. And it's especially encouraging because it shows you can always pull together something great with the right motivation. GREAT JOB!
My like life dream is to have the privilege to make a video like this. I play the violin, and have for only 5 months. I'm already trying to dance. I also do ballet, and am really excited to be able to play violin on pointe. Lindsey is such an inspiration to me, and I've gone to one of her concerts in Seattle, and I want to meet her so bad. I've heard she gives the best hugs 🤗 If she sees this, and tells me, it would make my day. No, it would make my 2017 the best year ever. -ella
Keep knocking them out of the park Lindsey. Truly staggering what can be done in 1 week with the right people. Wish my job could implement things that quickly. Can't wait yo see you next month!
Those make up artists are incredible...you look beautiful and exactly like you described...cracking. I cant imagine how hard it was to be up there nailed to the floor, and dangerous. One wrong move and there goes a knee or ankle. I love the song and video. Your vision is incredible and the team that made it come alive is equally amazing. Well done everyone. 🤗
Yes I do feel that!!! I'm always being scared if the days stay the same ! But then when I heard Shatter Me .I felt free I thank you thanks I feel different now! Your fan Jeaneth Gonzalez Luna🎻
So you were both actually at the same video studio at the same time? Because when I saw the video, it looked like the two of you had been filmed at different places and just edited together, like maybe Ms. Hale was filmed somewhere near her tour in a clockwork set and you were filmed at one of your usual locations, and then you just shared the videos back and forth. That is what many other artists have done so often with collaborations. But awesome that you were actually together both when you did the track *and* again doing the video, so old school quality.
LindseyTime Its really good that you make behind the scene videos, especailly explain the meaing of the song!. This song is very inspiring :). I love it, I've always wanted to hear this kind of song :). It describes me a lot :)
I watched you perform Shatter Me at your concert in Portland, OR last night and I could really feel the energy and your passion for this song. It was an incredible performance
If you haven't bought your tickets for the #lindseystirlingtour , get them now! I just went it last night and it's the best concert I've ever been too! Lindsey & Dia are both completely amazing. :)
I love your music videos so much :) I could see so much emotion and meaning behind the video and the visuals and I can relate to the song so much :) But most of all I think you are so talented to be able to convey the meaning of the song across in this video and you should keep doing what you are doing no matter what people say :) Thank you for inspiring me to be me no matter what :)
Hey Lindsey, this is still among my favorite videos & songs. I play it all the time. I get MOST of the imagery. But could you tell me what your thoughts & inspiration was for the butterfly/bat imagery? A very subtle yet powerful image. Be well. Harlequin
The artistry of this video is spectacular! Steampunk goodness! And now that you've had some prosthetics experience, perhaps you can work for Weta Workshop! Haha. Marvelous stuff. Oh, and bats are beautiful creatures too! ^_^
I LOVE YOUR MUSIC SO MUCH OMG!! I know it's not related to her music but 'Shatter me' is one of the greatest books out there!!!you should def. read it!
Man that was a concert of a lifetime last night, great music and you did awesome as you always are, I will be at Tempe 9/26, by the way, do you know whether or not there are VIP tickets for that show?
Hey Lindsey, this is still among my favorite videos & songs. I play it all the time. I get MOST of the imagery. But could you tell me what your thoughts & inspiration for the butterfly/bat imagery? A very subtle yet powerful image. Be well. Harlequin
Oh my gosh can't wait to see you at concert In Las Vegas, my first concert ever since you are such a great and awesome influence on my life. See you soon!
Just became a bigger fan because of that dallas cowboys shirt. I've been a fan since you were wrongfully eliminated on the talent show. So excited to watch you perform in Texas July 12th.
Quick question: are the little lights surrounding Lizzy in the clockwork set suppose to be a reference to song of a caged bird? Just curious! I think it would be really cool if that's what they were suppose to be.
Hey Lindsey! Congratulations for another great song, you, Lzzy Hale and your entire team really rocks! \o/ I'm soooooo greatful that I saw your video "Crystallize", the first video of yours I saw - through it, I managed to hear more and more of your powerful music! Keep going like this Lindsey, always smiling and motivated, because your career can only go up and foward! (By the way, you got tons of fans here in Brazil, do you intend coming here for a tour anytime? :D)
I freakin love you. All of this is just amazing. I saw the behind the scenes first. And I fell in love with this kind of music. Then I saw the video and my mind blew up. 💥
+Lara Croft, She represents the work and drudgery involved in maintaining the "perfect" illusion put forth to the world. It is not glamorous and perfect, it is grimy, hard work. Keeping everything together and working smoothly is represented by the complicated gear works. She had no real bed or nice things, the one thing she loved was the "fake" doll robot which she sacrificed to grind everything to a halt and bring down the facade and illusion and break into the true self. If you feel exhausted after a party or get together, you may have a little shattering to do. Your clockwork girl (or guy) is working hard to maintain the "show". When you break free, being with people is energizing and helps you feel alive and connected.
I love the fact that she came together with Lizzy Hale on this song. she is so beautiful the way she plays the violin she deserves to have a beautiful singer on a song like this:)
The way she is walking with those ballerina shoes at 3:14 is soo adorable haha ^^
They're actually called point shoes:)
My friends really don't understand how much I love Lindsey stirling and her music... Everybody has a favourite artist that is their hero(s) and that they just love, Lindsey Stirling is mine! You are a real Fanatic, which Americans refer to as being FANS.
ScottWasTaken I feel the same way
I completely agree
ScottWasTaken she is the reason i want to learn the violin
ScottWasTaken Yup! When I First Saw Her I Knew I Had To Play Violin!
Oh Lindsey, the power of this song makes me cry.
Same! It's so powerful.
Just gotta say Lindsey, I played violin for about 4 years and my teacher thinks that I am at a very advanced level because I take after you, you are my role model. Thanks Lindsey! When I leave highschool, I want to play just like you. Thanks so much!

Wow! everything done in a week. Thats pretty intense! It ended up beeing a very good music video :)
her music video Stars align was shot in two days c:
Dat moment when i was rocking out to it just before i sat down and opened youtube...
Haha I did the same thing!
Aww it looked really painful when they pulled off that makeup on you :/
It was so cool to see how you made this music video, because it's so amazing! I absolutely love those ballerina dance moves you had! ^^
Seeing you with that ballerina costume almost makes me shed a tear, because the story is just soo beautiful :)
She had cracks in her skin and her face painted white, and she still looks drop dead gorgeous.

OUTSTANDING show in Seattle last night! Unforgettable experience. Seeing Shatter Me live was amazing, and your riffing on Lady Gaga's costume change was hilarious and adorable. Thank you soo very much.

6:14 Lindsey: OOOWWW!!! OOOWW!!!! I'M MELTING!!!
Me: (._.) Is that for real, or is she faking it?
Later...
Lindsey: Ow! Ow! Oow!!! (Rapidly wears a casual face)
Me: Yep, she's faking it.
The 1 dislike is from the remains of the little robot.
Then the little robot learned how to dislike 49 more times :(
And now it's 52
no he's not, he's just depressed, his name is Marvin the paranoid android
Now 68 - probably getting more just by his initial recognition
This song is my inspiration, you Lindsey Stirling, are my inspiration. I play violin too and I only wish I can one day be as good as you or maybe half haha. But seriously this song helps me when I honestly am feeling hopeless. Thank you for being so amazing love you^^
Dang, you got some abs! I guess getting that workout every night on tour pays off! :)
Shatter Me is my favorite song of yours, just because of the pure energy and passion that's in it. I loved the video, and I remember you talking about the story behind it at the LA temple, and that really showed through in the video. It was really fun to see how it all came together, I wish I could do stuff like that :)

I love the Bat/ Butterfly transition c: ♥ So beautiful ♥
Hey Lindsey, this is still among my favorite videos & songs. I play it all the time. I get MOST of the imagery. But could you tell me what your thoughts & inspiration for the butterfly/bat imagery? A very subtle yet powerful image. Be well.
Harlequin

Just became a bigger fan because of that dallas cowboys shirt. I've been a fan since you were wrongfully eliminated on the talent show. So excited to watch you perform in Texas July 12th.

Loved it so much. I bought the song and jammed to it all day at work and when I am driving lol
I can't even pick out a favorite song from Shatter Me, they are all perfection... Love you Linds
This song really opened my eyes on how snow-globe ballerinas really feel in their globes.
Quick question: are the little lights surrounding Lizzy in the clockwork set suppose to be a reference to song of a caged bird? Just curious! I think it would be really cool if that's what they were suppose to be.
Her album comes with a booklet, physical or digital that explains it.
Hey Lindsey! Congratulations for another great song, you, Lzzy Hale and your entire team really rocks! \o/
I'm soooooo greatful that I saw your video "Crystallize", the first video of yours I saw - through it, I managed to hear more and more of your powerful music!

I freakin love you. All of this is just amazing. I saw the behind the scenes first. And I fell in love with this kind of music. Then I saw the video and my mind blew up. 💥
Lindsey explained the story behind the ballerina quite a bit, but what about the clock girl? Anyone got ideas?
I think she lives inside the snow globe where the ballerina lived.
2:06 It's like seeing a 3-year-old ballerina walk off. lol :D
You need a Seattle Seahawks jersey instead of a Dallas Cowboy Shirt! Especially since your coming to Seattle tomorrow!
Wow. I already knew what was the video about - but when you started to explain it again I almost cried
I love the fact that she came together with Lizzy Hale on this song. she is so beautiful the way she plays the violin she deserves to have a beautiful singer on a song like this:)
I know right? they are both really amazing performers and when they come together they are amazing!!!!
+Sing. Is Life. both ladies are crazy talented:)
