Thats ecoboard. Or honeycomb board. Designed to seperate heavy items when freight shipping. Also used as the core of ikea furniture and other fast furniture too. Really strong stuff. If you made grooves for the shelves to sit on, it can take a ton of weight!
I love these types of projects. Totally customizable. Made from reusing items that would end up as garbage. No overhead cost other than glue etc paint and paste.
La idea es aceptable aún que se ve muy frágil la estructura se podía reforzar los extremos laterales y sobre todo los laterales de soporte con el papel craft mínimo unas 5 pasadas a toda la estructura le daría una mayor firmeza
Thanks for putting this idea out there. Sure it needs a few tweaks, but just seeing this gets the creative juices going. At the cost of wood, it is great to discover a way to make furniture for next to nothing. Someone already asked where you found such extra thick cardboard. Even before you glue two pieces together, the cardboard you use is already thicker than ¼". So again I ask, where do you find such thick cardboard?
It's first attempt to make something so big. I appreciate it.

Impressive. I used to build cardboard model ships. I find this neat cube storage shelving apparently sturdy and artistic. Great job.

We have a restaurant being renovated outside our window. I saw this box there and sent my husband to pick it up)) It's a refrigerator box

Adorei a ideia, ficou muito bonita... 💖💖🤩💗💗🤗💕💕😍
Adorei! 👏👏👏
Unfortunately, if you don't coat it a sealer all around. the carboard will warp.
What sealer would you recommend?
any art canvas seal@@petersister I wouldn't recommend the wax one
@@Jezidka Thanks for the tip. Yes, I can see why wax should be avoided.
no problem@@petersister
Where do you find thick cardboard like that ???
I just had it lying under my window)
Furniture packaging
🤔
Brilliant
What is the white paste after the paint?
It's spackling paste
Muy bueno.
Adorei ❤❤❤
Je me lance, merci pour l idee
Is that paper towels that you rip up? Did you use a glue solution?
Brown packaging paper or craft paper.
It's kraft wrapping paper. I glue it on with PVA glue
Quem me dera encontrar esse tipo de papelão 😢
