Celebrating Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler

This is a tribute video honoring Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler, the first Black American female physician in the U.S and one of the first Black physicians to publish a medical text. The Women of the African Diaspora at the UH College of Medicine created this video to share what Dr. Crumpler’s legacy means to them.
