  • See beginning to end construction of a permaculture pond in a natural gully with earthworks gurus Zach Weiss and Megan Neary of Elemental Ecosystems. Watch the landscape come alive through the seasons as the pond becomes established during its first year. This video demonstrates what it takes to make a viable pond in an arid climate with sandy soil.

    You should plant the types of rooted and also floating water plants in it that filter pond water.

    I wonder if drilling a hole straight down the center of the pond would help it have a place for sediment to deposit or if it would just end up being a drain and drying it out.

    • @thomasjelpel
      @thomasjelpel  Год назад

      The soil is very sandy here, so it would probably slowly drain the pond! Here is a tour of my house you might enjoy: ruclips.net/video/QWKPisywxvY/видео.html

    “Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.”
    Psalms 114:8
    Clay, by definition, is just a lot of very small, regular sized "rocks" that, when fit together properly, can produce, "standing water."
    I love watching scientists discover scripturally revealed truth...the hard way.

      I got a price on a built in swimming pool. The lady told me after all said and done I’m gonna be looking at $40,000. Needless to say I didn’t get it so 10,000 for a pond that you could use all yea is a real bargain
