What about the largest AI projects in the world such as Tesla’s Full-Self-Driving (AI robotics) or Tesla’s power distribution (monetization of energy storage)? OpenAI is signaling an offering for a $2,000/mo/resource option for business agents (e.g., use a $2k/mo agent as a substitute for a paralegal at a company that would save ~$100k - all in - for an AI agent that works 24x7 versus an employee with health benefits, sick leave, etc.). That’s just three examples, at scale, that he seems blissfully unaware of and has left out of his thesis. If you narrow your thesis to “AI are only LLMs”, you are completely missing the point - and that’s what Peter Anderson appears to be doing…
This sounds bad about monetizing energy. It shouldn't be also forgotten 37% of fossil fuel usage is used transporting, extracting and refining it. We only need to replace half is usage to really move forward
