I park my vehicle level at home verifying with a standard 4ft spirit level registered to the tent/topper. I then install the small adhesive spirit levels inside my vehicle above the rearview mirror and passenger seatbelt. Then, when I'm camping I can level the vehicle dynamically by myself as I park.
Fun video. Thank you. I use my cheap traction boards, too. Sometimes random rocks. I've built some leveling blocks out of 2x6 and ply. (A little heavy). Thank you for helping keep the environment clean. Bravo!
The Lego bricks are decent, and they seemed to not slip for you guys. I've shot one out before and cracked several and they don't stack... just like you all found. And I'd often run out. Any more I just use my traction boards, I have generic ones that are thicker than Max trax so they work better for leveling, but don't store as nicely... But I have yet to use them for actual recovery lol. And if you don't have traction boards then no one knows you are overlanding 😂
Check out GoTreads... I bought the XL as a dual purpose for recovery and leveling. I haven't tried it yet so can't confirm how good it works. Seems like it'll work great since the height is adjustable.
Absolutely ! GoTreads we’re on our list to try out but we weren’t able to get our hands on them in time for this video - dual purpose equipment is the way to go!

Thanks Sean! I like the 2x6 homebrew leveling blocks idea, super cost effective and they probably won't break like the lego style did for us!
Kiss system, eyeballmeter and stacked traction boards for me.
They Eyeball Meter is always a good way to go!

Great video and super helpful info! Will SuperPacific ever consider making the X1 for the ford maverick or small truck bed sizes?
Thanks Matthew! No plans just yet for the Maverick, but we're always looking for ways to support more vehicles. Stay tuned!
