I love the conversation between Maxie and Sam. With her explaining to Maxie how she found her partner in crime with Jason on how well they work together and how she loved and missed the adrenaline of danger of having to think quickly on her feet and so on. I miss this Sam so much, I know she still does PI work, but it's not the same like it was and ik she has kids to think about, but she didn't have to scale back so much on who she is. The writers completely watered down her character. Sam is a phoenix who always rose up, was a fighter, and a bad ass.
You know what they say - How you get'em is hoe you los'em. It makes sense why Liz was suspicious because she began hanging around Jason when he and Sam were together and Sam didn't mind but being a complete hypocrite she can't stand Sam doing the EXACT same thing :)
But that's just it, Sam is NOT doing the exact same thing. It was random meet up. And it's not Sam's fault that Jason has this super-hero complex, which by the way didn't bother Liz when he was using his super powers towards her. And you're right, like I say, "If he cheats WITH you, he'll cheat ON you. Yeah I know he didn't physically cheat on Sam but he did a hell of a job cheating emotionally. And to me that is just as bad and more hurtful.
Sam was always apologizing to Liz when Liz never deserved it and she doesn't need to explain anything to Liz either. Liz is a hypocrite to the core because she always popped in on Jasam and Sam never said anything about it. Sam doesn't have trust issues like Liz does.
Wait, it is true every time Sam and Liz are in a good place you notice it is Liz that does something to Sam that shifts their peace treaty. Sam technically only did one messed up thing towards Liz that she repeatedly apologize for and made up for it is always Liz that does something to Sam, especially when it comes to Jason and never apologize for it.

I've seen where Jasam fans was praising Guza for reuniting Jasam in 09' "WHY ??? His true intentions was to annihilate Jasam (SAM) so Liason could stay together for good. Guza did every thing humanly possible so nobody would ever want Jasam back together again. We all know how he slayed Sam's character for Liason's pairing I've said it enough but don't praise him he favored Liason Brian Frons is the reason Jasam got back together. And the conversation between Liz & Sam is bull💩 plain & simple. Ugh years later & this crap still makes me mad.😠😠😠
