Dr Sahib, I was surprised to see your statement regarding the custom's issue, that was very petty and you are far bigger for all of us. Good to see your clarification on it. May Allah reward you for what you've done for Islam.
You are always surprised. That is not why you have named yourself wise voice. Please become a source of guidance for others so we can proudly say his voice is wise.
You are ignorant like most social media users in Pakistan who react to shortform videos and didn't heard the complete answer to know the context which was in response to the Question of a Pakistani Muslim brother complaining about rampant bribery in Islamic Republic of Pakistan and how it is impossible to get any work done without bribe and asked if giving bribe will make him enter hellfire. Dr. Zakir replied with two personal incidents when he entered Pakistan and was compelled to pay money for something that is unreasonable. First in his visit in 1991 when his bags in the the train was overweight with Quran and Islamic books he was carrying and officer asked him for bribe and he said he came to Pakistan to collect Islamic videos and books. Second time in 2024 when he was invited by the Government of Pakistan to give Islamic lectures to the masses in Pakistan and how his dozen+ cameras brought for the purpose of recording and broadcasting Islamic lectures were hold up by PIA and he was asked to pay money to get it released which is shameful. If Dr. Zakir Naik brought dozens of maids, furniture, and clothes etc on a personal trip then he is suppose to pay for his personal luggage he is carrying. But when you run the largest Islamic satellite TV channel and have to carry the latest tech i.e. over dozen film industry level 8k cameras for the purpose to record Islamic lectures in 8K so that it can be preserved for the purpose of Dawah for next 50 years, it is shameful to charge Islamic scholar for carrying his only weapons(cameras/mic) who is a State Guest and State guest have different set of protocol. He was rightly upset as not even poor African countries like Gambia charged him for carrying his dozen cameras.

Dr. Zaik Nayek we are ashamed that instead of pardon from PIA, Governor sab forced u to pardon us... No it is really heart wrenching... U just highlighted a big flaw in the administration for the sake of other people travelling on PIA... PIA even doesn't treat well a state guest... Then we Pakistanis are nothing... So disappointing 😢

Unfortunately we all got to see Dr Naik's ego when he had his little tantrum over excess baggage. He forgot that as a Muslim you should be humble. There was no humility in the rant that he had. And I'm sorry, but being such a clever man him saying that he didn't want to cause any rift is not believable. Or if he didn't realise then it shows how caught up in himself he was. I used to be a great fan of this man but now I have no respect for him. His true colours are showing. Going to Pakistan on the invitation of a bunch of fascists is not a good look
Governor sab forced Dr. Zakir to pardon us... He just highlighted a big flaw in the administration for the sake of other people travelling on PIA... PIA even doesn't treat well a state guest... Then we Pakistanis are nothing... And secondly, his luggage was not his personal belongings... It was for the cause of Dawah... This is the point he raised that, PIA didn't even consider his cause and status but prioritized its little profit... Shame!!
