Well done, nice dive. i took my son for his first open water dive at playa Chica about 3 weeks age we only went 8.8 meters as he only got PADI seals master cert. it took us three years to plan because when we went to dive in 2019, he got sun burnt so we couldn't go diving together because i already done 2 dives the same day when i passed my open water then covid hit us and we had to wait till October 2022. the vis was amazing i say a good 25 meters. can't wait to go again. enjoy the rest of your holiday and if i ever come to Tenerife i will pop in and see you.

You can try the dive no problem as your jacket inflates to keep you floating if you find yourself on the surface. Life is short give it a go
I think the scare is being under water for us whom are not confident
