Peggy rides the Climate Classic: 375 km in 16 hours to raise awareness for climate change.

On Friday, June 21, Peggy Kuipers (who has been active within our foundation for years) is taking on a tremendous challenge. Peggy is participating in the Climate Classic, cycling a whopping 375 kilometers within 16 hours! From Breda to Groningen, tracing the 'future' coastline of the Netherlands, a coastline we hope will never become a reality. This line emphasizes the impact of climate change on the Netherlands, a country where a quarter of the surface is below sea level and vulnerable to flooding. With this bike ride, she is raising donations for the sustainability center De Groene Transformator in Roermond.
Why Support?
De Groene Transformator is a highly successful sustainability center. We support initiatives and organize activities where people engage with clothing, goods, food, living, and greening. We involve schools, companies, organizations, and of course, residents. As a public benefit organization (ANBI), De Groene Transformator is entirely dependent on donations. Therefore, these donations are of great importance.
Our Goal
Peggy aims to raise 7000 euros for De Groene Transformator. This will allow us to grow our initiatives and develop new school projects.
