I mean, yeah I love shit like this and a lot of people do. There are games for your tastes out there I'm sure, but no need to shit on this. Personally it's my thing, and when something like this scratches that itch for people who have it, it's very exciting. Understandable it wouldn't be for everyone but that's no reason to go spreading hate
Oh this makes me happy. Info time everyone. This is known as a LDA (linear danger area) ie most road or water crossings. Now you may be asking how do I get across without my brain leaving my body? Great question! If you are solo, I recommend avoiding these areas entirely, because you do not have the support to safely cross this area. But if you have to, do so extremely quickly. Now for a squad. Have one person scout the LDA, relay back the info to the squad. Place one person facing down both lines of sight (if it’s a road one person looking down the road to the left and the other to the right) and have one person cross at a time. You set up far security first on the other side, meaning looking out into the unknown, then you mirror it, left opposite side covers while right close side is in place or vice versa. And you do this until everyone is across.
