- After just two years of marriage, actor Justin Hartley is filing for divorce from his wife, actress Chrishell Stause.
Hartley, best known for his work on This Is Us, officially filed on November 22, 2019, but he claims that the two have been separated since July 8, 2019. Stause opposes this, saying that she and Hartley had never separated before the divorce filing. It looks like she might be right, as the two made public appearances after the alleged separation date, and Hartley even made an Instagram post on his wife’s birthday that gave no hint of separation.

When I first heard the news I thought maybe they had been arguing a lot. Then I watched Selling Sunset and realised he told her she filed for divorce OVER TEXT!
She didn’t file, he filed for divorce.

It’s crazy because Lindsay filed the divorce from him and he files for divorce from Chrishell. Lindsay had a nasty divorce and all the while Justin dissed her. It’s Justin. It’s very clear now. Forgive me for saying but he strikes me as a selfish asshole! The kind of guy who gets turned off when love interferes with his desires or his needs. To him love equals clinginess and she looks clingy in this interview. She wants a family but he already has a daughter, so he isn't ready to start all over. Plus if they divorce after they have a child then that would be a nightmare with alimony and child support. The fact that he is still young and has so many opportunities open to him by being on such a successful show, it would make smart business sense to hold back on having another baby right now. He doesn't want to do anything that will stall his career. Chris Pratt had the same issue with his wife. It's sad but, if you don't support your leading man another woman will. He probably figures if they're fighting a lot already and he has made up his mind to divorce her, than yeah, the first thing to do is to protect his money. I have followed Lindsay and Justin since passions, and was disappointed their marriage didn't work out. I had a feeling this marriage would have problems as well. I remember when he and Lindsay were doing home movies and also another with an ultrasound of Isabella still in the womb. Fame may have changed him but also after the first divorce he may not be into settling down and starting a family since he's already done that and obviously still has a good relationship with his daughter. He may be a heartbreaker for years to come with no plans to settling down especially while his career is good. He's great doing interviews and knows how to play to camera.

Well I am out of the loop I guess because I have never watched This is Us. However I have watched Selling Sunset. As far as I can tell he’s a typical POC man. That as soon as he gets some money is looking for something better. I do hope she gets her fair share of anything she is owed. I will make it a point not to support any movies/shows he is a part of.
