- This week Matthew has a special delivery from our friends at Sea & Reef. Clownfish are pretty much every reefer's gateway fish into the hobby. Since the early days of picking "Nemos" out at the shop, clownfish breeding has become a hobby of its own. Today Matthew received a special delivery from our friends at Sea and Reef who specialize in culturing ornamental clownfish!

Those clowns are no joke , they are so beautiful.
Absolutely awesome. I always wanted to try an all Clownfish tank but was scared of the aggression. They are basically, pretty Damsels. I wanted to do this 18 years ago when I got into the hobby. Those are beautiful clowns

I wish my clowns swam around, mine just stay in one corner barly ever venturing out of it. They were the first fish i added.
BTW very nice set up.
My clowns swim around the tank only when the wave maker goes off for feeding. Otherwise they too stay in one place.

Hello, I’m 13 years old and from Bangladesh 🇧🇩. I’m planning to start a 120 gallon mixed reef tank next year. Can u tell me what would be a good fish and invert stocking? (clownfishes, nassarius snails, trochus snails and red fire shrimp are a must obviously 🙄) Pls. I am asking you now as I want to finish all of my proper research in the fishes before getting them as I want to give the, a good home. And one more thing, can I use 6,000 Kelvin led flood light (white) for my refugium? Ik this comment is too big and I’m sorry for that. But any reply would be of great help for me.

Oh yes I have watched the series when they came out. That clown harem tank series is the one that inspired me to get back into saltwater fish hobby after stopping back in 2006 due to a move. I know have had 5 tanks, if you count the quarantine one.
