Joe & Joe Weather Show Podcast LIVE 7:35PM 7/24/2024. The southwest flow of tropical air continues into Thursday in the Eastern US and across the South and Southeast. Rain, thunderstorms and severe weather risk will also extend across the South Friday and into the weekend. A cold front will pass off the East Coast late Thursday and a drier warm air mass will move in for Friday and the weekend. Heat will return next week especially in the Plains from Texas to the Dakotas with 100 degree plus highs.
