Matchbox 20 is my # 1 band of all time. There are few pure bands left like this that are a complete package. They write their own stuff, compose, sing, play........ all of it!! And they are ALL so talented. Every band member can play practically any instrument they pick up and it's simply amazing to me. I did not realize that North was their first album that debuted at # 1. I had always assumed that all of their other CDs did the same. That's really saying something when a band can be off on their own for 10 years and come back and put out an album that debuts at #1. Wow!!

I actually listened to the song "Overjoyed" for the first time only about a year ago. Wow, amazing song and video. I cannot overstate it, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song so much ! :) Great interview here as well. I met Rob Thomas a few years back when I went to his concert in Durham, NC.

It's just so awesome how they feed off of each other and look to each other for confirmation about things, and yeah...man, wish more bands were like this.
I remember when Kyle answered my tweet, I don't know how old I was but that made my day. Still have that tweet because MB20 are my favourite band, oh I'm sorry favorite...but it just showed that he cared about their fans🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦still waiting for you to come to South Africa by the way, long shot but you never know.
Still obsessing since seeing MB20 in Sep 2017 (and Rob Thomas in Sep 2016). Can't get enough of them. They're all so talented. Loved the SHOW dvd. Rob Thomas is a brilliant songwriter and singer, and a genuinely nice guy. He married his wife three weeks after my husband and I were married. Now, if I could just get my husband to realize his love for this band and Rob too, I would be ecstatic! He's tired of hearing their music. I can't get enough of The Great Unknown album. Every song rocks, but especially I Think We'd Feel Good Together, Pieces, NLYTM and Heaven Help Me. Such good great work. I'd give anything to meet him and/or him and his wire Marisol in person.

I looked at it, became distracted by something.. I sat it down in my shopping basket. I didn't realize I had bought it until I got home. Oh well, might as well listen to it... Best Accidental Purchase Ever!

They are the most inspiring group out there today. Speaking of the North album, I cannot believe that as of today (Oct 2018) that album has only sold a little over 500k copies. It is an amazing album (my favorite of their catalog) and I don't understand how it hasn't sold more.
